Rip n Eat, or Sit n Wait? [Pic]

Ohhhhh!!! Its been several months of putting together, lots of reading, but I finally did it. I have shrooms.



I am unsure of how fully developed these shrooms are. This is my first time growing, and man... I want to eat them so bad. However I don?t know if that?s a good idea. I am unsure if picking a few at this point will drastically reduce the potency / mass. Also, I checked the faq and the Magic Mushroom Dosage Calculator told me that 17.24 grams was a good amount for a 'level 3' trip. Does this seem like a lot, or is it only because of the water?
Should I pick these babies off and down them, or wait in agony and anticipation for a few more days?

i would wait to pick them.(probably within the next 24)...they arent done growing yet..wait until the cap starts to pull away from the stem....and yes the 17.24 grams seems like alot but its mostly water weight...you waited this long, another 24 wont kill you....
