Study harder. Vox populi, vox dei means: "the voice of the people is the voice of a god". God is not dog, you got it backwards.

Don't know about you but IMHE, there comes a point in one's Mycological career when one hears another speak over the subject, one can tell if the other is speaking out of experience or just regurgitating the correct answer they've read or heard a million times over and are intelligent enough to recite the data they've learned/read and repeat it back to another.

If by user you mean a member of the shroomery, I don't think he is. That dude's myco roots run way deeper then the shroomery. We're all sitting around trying to figure out how to grow shrooms while Stamets is getting patents on morphing mycelial cultures to rid your home from termites and carpenter ants, is part of a crusade to save the old growth forests, created bunker spawn as a means of habitat restoration, the list goes on.
If you refer back to the 3rd page of this thread, there's a discussion about stamets being a member of the shroomery. That is where I derive my opinion of whether or not Stamets is a member of the shroomery or not.
If you haven't had a chance to, please go to youtube and watch "6 ways mushrooms can save the world" by Paul Stamets.
