How am I doing?

Hello everyone,
I have been lurking for some time gathering information from all of you great people here. And I finally jumped in, I already made jars, sterilized, knocked up, colonized, and then let them consolidated. Did I get all of that right?
I already birthed two jars Monday night that were done much faster then the other jars. Funny enough I birthed one last night that had two small pins growing on it, I guess I should have birthed that one Monday also. I have two more jars that aren't birthed yet one has a tiny little spot that is just finishing up it was a bit slow, and the other is good to go just waiting for its bro to be done colonizing.
So here are some pics I have major concerns about humidity. I have three Hygrometers and they all say something different, I had a 4th in there for a bit and it also said something different but it was cool with me it was 95%. I read the Shotgun method is practically full proof, but I am always concerned because the digital one just says 90% another digital one said 95% and the other two are Analogue(I hope that right) and one goes never above 70 and the other just stops at 80.
I spray the FC about 3-4 times a day a nice mist about 2ft from the cakes. I fan 5-6 times(possibly too much) I have the 1/4"holes drilled in all 6 sides roughly 2in apart, 5in of Perlite that was rinsed very well with water. I just want to make sure they are happy and its humid enough for them.
There are droplets on the cakes and sides because I just sprayed before taking pics, I make sure all water on cakes is evaporated after a hour or so.
And I believe I can see one pin popping up, cant get a good pic of it, but looking at my picture I feel like there are a few clusters forming or do I have no clue what I am talking about? Almost forgot they are Golden teachers.

you're doing perfect..
your chamber is built like it should be, so dont worry bout the hygrometers most are crap anyway..
continue to mist/fan 3-5 times a day just as you are. and you will be rewarded in time, just be patient.

Yea, patience seems to be the name of the game. I am not good at that game but hopefully Mycology will help with that. I though all the Hygrometers were crap, I read the only good ones are expensive ones and I am going to buy a PC before I spend money on that.
Thank you for the reassurance you wouldn't believe the stress that was lifted.

I have read that a 12/12 schedule is best but I have mine on a 16on/8off schedule.

I'd use more verm on the cakes, and sometimes I like to put a little pile on top of the cakes. Be sure to mist well as to saturate the verm.

Yea I got the wrong size verm it doesnt stick too well, I birthed another cake and got more verm to stick too it. I had a pile on top but brushed it off because I couldn't tell if there was a pool of water on top and I am so paranoid of tric.

The cake I birthed, Dunked, and Rolled is a little more blue then the other cakes is this normal right after D&R hopefully it will clear up I just didn't remember my first too being that dark when i birthed them. But this cake was pining inside of the jar there were two very small musshies growing on it so maybe its a little more stressed?

So another Question, I made up 30 BRF jars Steralized them all, I didnt inoculate them for a couple of weeks after that. :(
So when I inoculated I did it the same way as before and I noticed when I took the aluminum foil off the jars felt wet like condensation got caught under the foil on top of the lid.
I Wiped all the lids with rubbing alcohol just in case any nasteys were on there. Well Yesterday I noticed a strange smell it smelt like old broccoli thats been sitting in the fridge.
Its awful smelling I noticed some of the jars reak when I waff above the lids. I already know I screwed myself over I went through and took out most of the jars becasue they had a nasty smell. I left a few to see if they make it.
3 Syringes, 30 jars, all that time and effort gone.
Does it make sense that me waiting after I sterilized them and leaving that aluminum foil on there was my problem as you can see I had no problems the first time and the only difference was that I waited a couple of weeks this time because I always have to procrastinate.

i dont think its the fact that you waited, even though its not recommended, if proper sterilization was used the jars would of been fine...i think your foil lid was too loose and allowed water to get into your jars giving you a bacterial problem..

Thanks everyone,I think your right Biology's when I made my first five I really took my time I think making 30 I messed up a couple of times. When you put foil on them do you cover the entire jar with foil or just very tightly on top?
I put some nice piles of verm on the cakes and misted them well last night. I will get a pic today to show some updates, I just cant wait to see some musshies.
