Water buildup in jars
    #14025288 - 02/25/11 12:38 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

Hi, I was just wondering if water buildup in jars is normal, I know that water on the sides of the jars are due to temperature difference from the inside of the jar to the outside, but one of my jars, which is fully colonized the outside of the jar for about a day now, has a tiny puddle of water, where I can shake the water , is this bad, the cake is almost done like 5 more days, should I be worried?

I wouldn't worry to much, if it only has five days left for fully colonization

Not shaking hard lol, just like tilting side to side, and the water is natural , high moisture content in the cakes and different temps inside the jar then outside will always make condensation, just a little tinny like 1/2 centimeter buildup at the bottom, I think itll be okay just making sure

The water buildup I'd say recently, just noticed it today, and I'm constantly looking at this jar because it's my fastest one so far, and it's almost done

Like I said condensation is normal, it's nature , if RR told me I'm fine, I think it'll work..

condensation is not 1/2 cm of standing water in a pf jar.

but like i said. just let us know how it goes.

us bickering is going no where.

Wait a week after you see 100% colonization
