Oh hellz yea. I Jam guitar every morning. When I was in college it was great. My friends and I had a setup. A drum set, an electric accoustic, a microphone and an electric guitar. We even had Clarinets, shake sand eggs, and harmonicas. It was fun smokin and jammin the day away.
Every thursday one of the local bars had a mic night. They hated us. They supported mostly country music while we played whatever came out. They also hated how we played the drums full blast. Fuck them. Its open mic night, not closed mic night. One time they told us our song was too mellow dramatic and that we had to play happier music. Assholes.
Speaking of jams..
Does anyone listen to much Creedence Clearwater Revival?
I love their music but I was only able to get ahold of the popular stuff. Is all their music just as slick and awsome?

I jammed everyday from the time I was about 15 or 16 until the time I was about 21 or 22... Then something happened...I dont know what...
I cant even bring myself to pick up an instrument anymore unless its a hand drum and i just dont have the energy I used to.
Also I got really bad early onset arthritis.

3 or 4 hours a day minimum, usually 2 hours on bass and 2 or more on guitars.

I've had a few jams with friends but I only recently started jamming on my own.
I still suck at playing the keyboard but this is what I did today. First time I ever hit record when I was fucking around.
Ended up putting a lot of my soul in to the music.

I play every day, but not so much with other people. Solo jams are awesome, though.
Usually I'll record a drum track. Then just jam along with the bass for a while and add other things in each time.

I like that.
I try to jam by myself every day. I don't get to jam with other people as much as i'd like, it's kinda hard to get 3+ people and their instruments together at the same time.

this last summer we had it down jamming and getting ella everyday all day. we eventually got evicted though. (not music related) and the jams dwindled to little to never.
we would usually switch off and play everything. although i'm partial to the bass. I dabble in clarinet and pretty soon hopefully adding a microkorg to the mix. I play my acoustic for a couple hours a day.

I'd almost prefer solo jams. My last jam produced this.
I think I posted it before on here, but i'll post it again anyways.

You don't need VSTs in Reason. Malstrom, Subtractor, NN-XT, and Thor are extremely powerful synthesizers. Especially Thor.
To assign samples to keys, open a Redrum patch and load the samples in the drum slots. You can even tweak the samples in there.
