Well, first I will say that Monroe's Journeys Out of the Body is an important contextual precursor to this book. My Big Toe (Theory of Everything) is pretty amazing so far. It is making me question everything and really take a hard look at the cultural and personal beliefs which I hold dear. I'd recommend the book to any skeptic who has ever contemplated the idea of other realities. Be weary though, it may make you feel uncomfortable when your worldview implodes.

Which beliefs specifically does it address?

I'm afraid I will hardly do justice to the message. It address the fundamental beliefs we hold dear -- whether they be personal, religious, cultural or scientific. The whole idea is that what we don't understand gets labeled mystical. Our whole culture is operating within a certain accepted paradigm. He finds major flaws in the physical model of reality. For example, the idea that everything in physical reality is causal is itself illogical, because it requires a mystical beginning (a uncaused cause). He proposes that PMR (physical matter reality) is a subset of NPMR (non-physical matter reality). He analogies a lot the book Flatland. We are like the flatlanders to NPMR until we explore it ourselves and draw our own conclusions from our experiences.
Ugh, I really can't do justice to this dudes ideas. The book is almost 1000 pages long, lol. I'm only on page 200 and something. He wants us to explore and make our own conclusions about reality, reject dogma. He was one of the people who worked in Robert Monroe's lab in the 70's. He got his doctorate in Physics and worked as a physicist for many years, so he's not just some new age hippie. Essentially he found a way to parallel process with both PMR and NPMR. He could be out of body simultaneously when driving his motorcycle. Some real crazy stuff and an interesting read for sure. I'd recommend you check it out if your interested.

I was watching some of Thomas Campbell's talks on Youtube, and they're some pretty intense stuff. I watched one specifically on healing and energy, and some imagination exercises that were great to follow along to.
I've been thinking about picking up this book, but to be honest to myself, I'm not totally sure I'm ready to blow myself away. Just these small samples of what I've read and watched on youtube (Probably only about 2 hours of videos) has already sent my mind into a crazy race.

I read Journeys Out of the Body in '73, and Flatland a few years later. Ken Wilber has been referring to materialistic monism as 'flatland' for many years. I am intrigued, but I've been going book crazy for a while and have a pile to read first. Thanks for your enthusiasm and the PM.

Going to buy this book next paycheck for sure now. The wave/particle duality experiments are what sold me.

I can't find this anywhere local. Can't find any decent overseas deals on eBay and I just canceled my VISA debit card so I can't get it off Amazon (they still don't do PayPal do they?). I'll watch all these videos now, since it sounds extremely relevant...
If anyone can get all 3 books cheap in USA or somewhere, or they're done with them, let me know, I gots PayPal. atm, screw forking out $100 for something that might creep up in PDF form at some stage...
EDIT: NVM! Found a good deal.

I can order it off Amazon for yea and you can just paypal me the bill. I think it's 22 dollars for the trilogy. Not sure what shipping will be down under.
I'm on page 400 and this is the most interesting book I ever read. I think skeptics like Icelander would even go for this book.

Is there a physics to death anxiety, or is it a metaphysics?

My 'good deal' is $60 Australian for all three. 22.00 USD = 21.7120 AUD. Hooray for your economy's slide! I think it's around $10 USD for international airmail. Cheers! I'll PM you my addy.
