Is Indirect Light Needed For Primordia To Grow?

My leopard gecko has a question....:
If I've got 8 jars incubating at 85, and some of them have fully colonized, some for at least a week, but have not shown primordia growth, does it need indirect light to trigger primordia?
It seems the PF-Tek isn't clear if it needs indirect light all the time, or just to trigger primordia.
Lastly, if I want to birth my cakes all at the same time (for casing let's say), and primordia does need indirect light to get triggered, is it safe to keep all jars incubated until primordia growth is even all around, and then add the indirect light?

If you plan to case them then there is no need to wait for primordia at all. Give your jars about 7 days after full surface colonization and birth them.
The jars that finish first can wait for the others to catch up if you like. If any primordia happen to form while waiting, just pick them off after birthing.

Well, the gecko is gonna case 4 of them, and then just PF Tek the other 4...
So should the 4 for the PF tek be put in indirect light to initiate primordia?

Indirect lighting is one of the triggers for primordia formation, yes.
But it is not critical to have primordia formation prior to birthing, even for fruiting from cakes.
