Under developed caps and mutant stalks

The strain I'm growing normally has a quarter sized cap with a tall thin stalk... the batch I've got going now the caps are under developed and the stalks are MUTANT thick.
Any one know what would cause this? I'm only getting a tiny few of what is normal but the rest are these mutants... WTF?
The only thing I believe I did differently is my casing soil is very wet...
Thank you for your help! Ya'll are great!!

Cubes don't need to be cased. If you're using spore syringes, each grow is a different strain, regardless of what was written on the syringe or print. RR

That is strange and interestng, almost like they came from PE spores. Are those the only two mutants? What would you say was the percentage of mutants-normies in that grow?

They have just started their first flush and it's 2% normal, 98% mutant...
I know what strain they are as I personally made the spore print from my last batch, which was an AMAZING harvest of all normal growth.
It is strange! I hope they are still safe to eat.
