inoculated 6 days ago sour smell

Ok, so first of all I would like to say that I'm new to this, but I have been doing alot of research. I'll explain everything from the beginning. I've inoculated 6 six widemouth half pint BRF/verm jars six days ago with Mexi-Cub- Psilocybe Cubensis spores ordered from a reliable site, now when I put my nose up to the holes it has a very nasty sour smell. The jars were also ordered off the internet and guaranteed sterile upon arrival. They came wrapped in alluminum foil with microtape over the 4 holes.
I was pretty sure to be sterile, i wore a mask, made sure i was in a no draft area, AC was off windows shut, I disinfected the table I used, poured alcohol all over my hands and arms multiple times throughout the procedure. The needle was sterile for the first jar, but after the first jar I just flame sterilized the tip. It turned black, but I didn't wipe it off. I dont know maybe this is the reason. no sign of colonization really.
Any ideas? hope they're not contamed
also some of the jars may have like 2-3 CC is them because the syinge would get stuck then I'd have to push harder causing alot to come out at once.

In my experience sour smells, reminiscent of dirty socks, rotting fruit, sweet funk, etc in BRF cakes within the first week usually means you have bacterial contaminates.
1CC is more then enough per jar, any more can throw off the water content of your jars resulting in bacterial and other contaminant growths.
Also was this "reliable" site a Shroomery sponsor?

also, just to let you know they don't smell unless I put my nose up to it. One of the jars doesn't even smell. I would have never known if I didn't put my nose up to it. but it really does smell nasty I'm going to post pictures soon.

If it smells as nasty as you state, give it another day or two and the area that you keep your jars in will stink. Spores 101 is notorious for selling bunk syringes as well as plain water syringes, google spores101 reviews, or hit the search engine.
Next time get your spores from a Sponsor, and make your own BRF jars.

I personally would toss out any jars that had a funky smell coming from them. 100% of the time in my experience it is bacterial contamination.

Ok thanks for your feedback. Here are some pictures, let me know what you think. Keep in mind it is 6 days from inoc and has been kept in room temp which varies from 68-76 degrees. but is usually around 73.

Bacteria. Toss and order from sporeworks, hawkseye, or ralphsters. Also, making your own jars is really easy.
I know why your syringe got stuck. Verm can clog the neddle. It takes practice but eventually you'll figure out how to work the syringe delicately.

alright I guess I will throw them out and properly start over...how should I go about doing this......Can I just throw out the mixture and wash the jars, or do I have to kill the bacteria before opening the jars........i want to use these jars for a future grow. thank you

Not sure I'd trust the eBay jars...
And spores101 has never sent me a bad syringe, while some sponsor vendors have. Ever vendor is going to send out a bad syringe once in a while - could be that.
You'd have to REALLY fuck up the inoculation to contaminate EVERY jar.
Nothing you can do with them at this point but wait. While your waiting, I'd order a couple more syringes, get a PC and make some jars myself.
You could go to walmart right now, spend $40 on a PC, $10 on jars, $5 on brown rice, $2 on aluminum foil and $2 on stickers and have 12 GOOD jars, and most the shit you'd need for next time. That's $60 + spores, and a few hours making them.

Don't throw them out!
Shit, it's only 6 days - some might be fine. Give it a couple weeks unless they visibly show mold or stink so damn bad you can't take it.
There might just be a couple bad jars, or maybe none are bad and your just smelling wet brown rice flour.
That's why it's better to have a lot of jars going - it decreases the amount of time you can obsess over and fuck with any single jar

"And spores101 has never sent me a bad syringe, while some sponsor vendors have. " Thing is, sponsors will replace contaminated syringes. Other vendors may not.
And he doesn't need a pressure cooker for PF tek. Skip the PC for now, as long as you have a large pot you can steam sterilize in. Save your money for a high-quality PC. I spent a good amount on my AA921 and it was WELL WORTH IT.
Oh my god, I can only imagine the headaches and time and even money that extra $$ investment saved me..

If it smells as bad as OP has stated I guarantee it to be bacterial contaminates. I had a lot of experience with bacterial contaminates and BRF jars for oysters when I first got into growing edibles, if it smells foul, sweet, like dirty socks, body odor, rotting fruit, etc, it almost 100% without a doubt is bacteria.

Anyway, after they contaminate some more steam sterilize them before opening outdoors.

Wow, really? I didn't know that.
I'm not arguing that the jars aren't shot, just saying you don't really gain anything by racing to toss them out (it isn't like green/black mold that's going to spread / hurt you)
If they still look bad in a couple days, toss em.

Yeah, the trick is telling them it's contaminated without revealing that you did more than look at it under your microscope.
