No relation to LOTR+ No relation to Starwars= Lotr+shrooms= Star Wars + lsd= On one side we have a story with the earthyness of shrooms, and the other is electric and vibrant like acid.

The movies are a must see. You should sit down sometime and give the first one a chance. The books are even better though. If you are a reader, get the books intead/also!
Apparently some people don't enjoy using their imagination. If that is the case, then you might not bother with the others, but definitely give it a shot.

About 8 years ago or so, me and a buddy ate like an eighth of mushrooms each. We got dropped off at the theater to see some crazy fucked up movie "Once upon a time in mexico". It was a huge mind fuck. We had to leave about 1/2 of the way through. We ended up at a friends house who was watching the first lord of the rings movie. He had a nice big flat screen tv. I tried to watch little bits here and there, but it was just waaay too much.

Everytime I've tried to watch Two Towers (several) I've fallen asleep less than halfway through. Dunno why. I loved the Fellowship movie. After my first time seeing fellowship I read the trilogy though. Prolly gonna catch alot of shit for this, but I found the books kind of meh. Way better fantasy stories out there IMO.
I felt the same way about starwars when I was really young, thought it and Star Trek were both infinitely stupid. Then when I was 8 or so I watched the oriignal trilogy in a day or 2 and I've loved it since

It's all good, I haven't seen the original Star Wars trilogy. Some of my friends think this is a ridiculous.

Oh man if your going to watch LOTR you need to just watch it all the way through, if you can't sit down and watch something as good as this then you might as well forget about it. There are theaters that play old movies, maybe you need to go see it in theater. If your not into it from the start then you might just not like it. I was hooked from the beginning but that is just me.

I haven't seen any of the star wars.
I feel that watching them now would be a huge let down as I'd see it as more of a kids thing that maybe you could enjoy again as an adult but not if you hadn't seen them as a kid.
Just like I wouldn't think it's a good idea for you to watch those either...

I've watched the first LotR movie 2 or 3 times in an attempt to get through the trilogy, but never get sucked in enough to watch the other 2 movies.
Love Star Wars though.

It's a cool set of movies full of drama and action.
But seriously, why didn't they just fly on the eagle things the whole way rather than walking?

I haven't seen either series. I've seen bits and pieces of all of these movies, but really only the good parts.

I tend to drift off while reading parts of it. Except about Fangorn.
Watch the animated versions, better IMHO. But the live ones were good.
