Just go to the meetings. You might actually learn something. If you get caught falsifying those then expect to do some county time. I had a fried who learned hard way with CA and PA

They do confirmation because most places have secretary's that they like to confirm with.
Is twenty days in county and extended probation really worth not going to some meetings...
Not for me.

yeah dude the best thing to do is not falsify them. It's not like you have to share or do anything really, all you have to do is show up and stay long enough that they sign your paper. when I had to go to court ordered AA/NA meetings i admit it was really the last thing i felt like doing but i actually came to enjoy listening to some of the peoples' stories. like withoutawire said, you might even learn a thing or two but take everything with a grain of salt cause 12-steppers spew a LOT of bullshit as well.

Man...never heard something so true before ^^
I'm sure most of us on this site have been to an AA or NA meeting while they seem grossly hyperbolic at the time..you do learn. And it's really not worth the risk to falsify your papers. Jus do what you're supposed to do and it'll be over in no time. No sense in getting into more trouble than you're already in.

I think MM (Moderation Management) is the most reasonable of any of the groups

Their motto is, "It's cool to drink, but drink responsibly."

I have been to probably three hundred NA meetings, thirty-forty AA, PA, or CA meetings.
After all these hours I have concluded that NA/AA is much like religion. The general message is good, the stories are good, more people have good intentions, but it's incredibly hard to get involved because people become hardcore about the "fellowship" "putting in hours" "committing to the group"
Love the message, can't stand the organization. Much like Catholicism.

yeah getting a sponsor and "working the steps" is a load of bullshit and a half, luckily that was not required of me.

Like we're saying, its probably not worth trying considering if they find out you'll be violating probation and it will look really bad, and the meetings really aren't that torturous, although it can be boring. how many meetings do you have to attend??
