My view is if we addressed our primary motivations, which I can only surmise I have discovered, then and only then could emotional change occur thus changing our world.

So structuralism?

Good, I always felt I needed more structure in my life.

Here is something else I was considering. When faced with losing the object of his affection Superman acts by using his latent powers and knowledge of physical science to change events and ensure they play out how he wants. Orpheus on the other hand has no concept of relativity, and certainly doesn't have the ability to change time, so he approaches the loss of Eurydice in the only way he knows how, to enter Hades. This is interesting because imo no one can punctuate time, highlight it and make it beautiful like a musician, yet Orpheus never considers this option, and with Superman being almost invincible, confronting death on it's own turf never enters his mind.

So, are you actually saying anything in this post, or is it just a character run-down?
