I unknowingly gave a lunatic a ride.

I was parked in front of a smoke shop and this dude walks by and asks me if i could give him a ride to the store, then take him home. I was low on gas so i told him i would if he'd hook me up with gas. He said yeah and showed me he had $40.
So he gets in and i quickly realize this guy's a nutcase. He's starts blabbing about things and some sentences just make no sense. He tells me his name, but then right after I'm pretty sure i heard him say he was Jesus. So i just asked him "What's your name again?" and he tells me the 1st name he told me.
He keeps blabbin on about how him and his cousin got in a fight and he's not happy with his life.
THEN he says, "I don't want to hurt you, you're cool." I told him "there's no reason to."
And he says "yeah, i just don't want to do anything stupid, don't think that i'm a bad guy or anything."
I told him "Nah, you're cool." but in my head im thinking "WTF!?"
So we get to the store and i tell him ill wait in the car and i just booked it.
No more giving rides to strangers.

You're so dead if he ever sees you again.

Ha, i don't think i'll see him again. It wasn't near my neighborhood.
And no, i didn't get the money. The store was only a couple streets from where i picked him up and i was gonna wait till the end for the money, but fuck that.

Next time you see him, slam on your brakes and yell at him that he owe's you $5 bucks. Then call him a bitch as you peel off in your ride. That'll make you gangsta.

Well played clown, well, at least everything before picking him up...
Jk I probably would have done the same exact thing. I have urges to help those I see in need a lot, but I think my conscience might be actually working these days.

That's a good story. Nice job playing it cool, I might have tried a hard punch to his jaw and then a side-of-the-road dump.

Fuck. more good reasons to be really cautious.
I had these two older ladies dressed up like 20 year olds hit on me and my friend once at a park downtown. One asked me "Do you have a girlfriend? Could we offer you any services for your special needs?"
I told them "No, i do have a girlfriend, thanks." OH and we were just starting to trip on mushrooms.

I did this shit once. I picked a guy up and his wife. They were broke down at the store close to my home. I give them a ride to Charlotte which at the time was about 15 miles from my house. When we get to their house the guy tells the women that he'll be back later. Then I asked him how are you going? He said to me " your going to give me a ride right?" and he pulls out a knife. I said sure where you need to go. He said "I need to go to Boo's house". Okay I take this man to Boo's house thinking when he gets out I'm going to bolt. That wasn't the case ,Boo come outside and sold this passenger of mine some crack. Dude pulls out a pipe and starts smoking crack, while doing this he keeps trying to make me smoke some. I refused the whole time. Well 5 hours has passed, and I'm still driving this guy around it was like 3:00am. I had to stop and refuel, and I told the teller at the store to call the cops, that I've been high jacked. She laughed and payed me no attention.Once I get back to the car, I told dude I need to get home, he said to me. Okay but first give me all your money, I gave him 35.00. Of course I had to take him back to Boo's house, but this time Boo was sleeping. The guy says if "I go knock on the door your not going to leave right?" I said no, hell no, I wouldn't do that to anyone. So he takes about 4 steps away from the car and I took off, with the door wide open.
Same here, I'll never pick up a stranger ever again.

Only psycho I ever gave a ride was just your plain old crackhead.
Kept saying his car must be, "just another block down."
Then I told him, listen, I guess you got towed, so now what? And he asked me to drop him off at a jitney stop.
Then he tried to wait in my car by paying me with song. Started pounding on his chest for a bit and singing, "Looooorrrd! No turnin' back. *thumps chest rythmically* No turnin' back, no turning back, no turnin'.... back *thumps his chest again*" This went on for about another two minutes when I was like, "Dude, I gotta roll, ok?"
Then he told me his name was MC Problem Child, and gave me his "nieces" number, but I had to be careful, because she was Jewish.
I had two friend with me, and no turnin' back still pops into the convo sometimes.

I only got one good ride as a hitch-hiker.
I've given some good rides, though, and even scored some free coke from it.

Oh my god. Your story is what runs through my mind when I consider picking up a hitchhiker. I do it on a rare occasion though. I feel bad for not doing it more though. I would want someone to pick me up.

Exactly, at first he seemed alright and i do enjoy helping out those in need because i know how awesome it is to be helped out like that. I wished that someone would have given me a ride when i got my lisence suspended; taking the bus everywhere sucks assholes.
That dude probably was the killer on the road.

What do you guys think about those comments he made, you think if i would have stayed he would have tried something?
