I think this whole existence is as corny as hell.  I could care less about all the fantastic scenery and the scientific wonders and marvels. Just that fact that this so called amazing universe and cosmos and evolutionary process produced the stupid human primate is enough to make me realize what a completely corny and stoopid production this all is.

Hey I heard that the Hubble just came up with some very deep sky photos of uncountable galaxies and if you hold the photos at arms length they all form a clown face.  Isn't that just wonderful?:satansmoking:

What is it with people on this site hating on life and people so much?

Would you rather not exist?

I mostly share this view, but I also hold out hope that SOMEWHERE in this vast universe there is some other sentient life that isn't the pathetic piece of shit our species is.

Too bad it's as close to certain as anything ever is that I will never get to go there. I'm stuck here on this shitty planet with this shitty species and THAT'S what's really depressing.

Humans are smart enough to have made an Eden on Earth. Look at what we did instead: uncounted thousands of wars in our history, 350 of them plus two World Wars in just the last 100 years. Many (most?) of them of religious origins, no surprise there.

The only solace I find is with the lower animals. My cat never disappoints me like damned near all humans do. :cat:

Yeah hope's a bitch.  More human corny if you ask me.  The up side is that we aren't here forever.

I often think of what we could do with this planet were we so inclined but that's just depressing as hell.:satansmoking:

You say only sometimes? Does this infer that you hold a different opinion at other times, or just that when you stop to consider your overall predicament, you conclude thus?

Not really a different opinion but some days it doesn't get to me.

i agree, i find myself wondering what the hell is the point of working, spending the majority of my time at a place and with people you could give a flying fuck about???? for food and shelter and drugs?????

On top of it knowing that this is as good as it will get!!!!!!

Pretty soon we're all going to be wishing we didn't let our corporations and government did whatever they pleased.

Sometimes i am really curious about death, just about the onl thing that keeps me alive right now is sexual intimacy and some good laughs with my girl.

if that were gone the curiosity would be far to much....i would most certainly find a way to get there, instead of wait for it painfully.

To this post, i say cheers, its a bright part of this shitty cold world.

Yeah, havin a tight little snuggle bunny is a great distraction at times.

Unfortunately that scenario also has a clown face for me now too.

But it's cool to know there are a few others out there.:satansmoking:

NO!  There is very little that is fantastic about two knee surgeries and arthritis and getting up to pee several times a night.
