Fine

Trade List! Don't use incubators. An incubator is for contamination as brothels are for STDs. Sure you get sex, but is it worth it?

it also looks like you used a lot of vermiculite to BRF in your mixture. Very glittery. And take that damn foil off.

It always looks like that at first. Don't worry. I thought the same thing my first time.

I thought the foil kept out airborne contaminates?

The verm layers keeps out air-borne contaminates.
Also do not move or shift your jars around to much, as this can shift the verm layer and allow contaminates in.

Any ideas on why it took so long? Not being impatient, just looking to improve. I figure thats a little late for first signs of myc growth. Day 8?

It can take 7-14 days for spore germination.
8 days to germination seems normal, not slow at all.
Growing mushrooms takes time, and requires a lot of patience. Here is a time line for BRF cakes so you have an idea of how long it will take you to get to fruits.
Spore germination: 7-14 days Colonization of substrate: 2-4 weeks Consolidating cakes: 1 week Time it takes to start producing first flush: 1 week Being patient and enjoying the fruits of your labor: Priceless
I would suggest buying a book or two on mycology and reading while you wait.

Yeah I wouldn't call that slow.
Taking that foil off will help to speed things up though. The foil inhibits gas exchange which the mycelium needs to grow properly. The purpose of the foil is to keep water out when you are boiling/pressure cooking your jars.
If you're looking to speed the process up, look into making a liquid culture. Or learn to do agar work.

Thats not a bad idea. Any titles in particular I should check for?
And I have another question. I'm doing all my colonizing and noccing in my closet. I have 24 jars total thus far, How long should I wait before re-upping on spores and starting another batch? I dont want to overload myself, but i would like to have a nice cycle. Or an idea of a cycle that i can tweak to my needs.

BINGO Eating mushies you grew yourself>those you buy from someone any day! It's sooo rewarding to actually know you grew the thing that is making you trip.
OP as stated before, looks fine to me and if you didn't notice, there is a contamination forum for questions such as this that is right under the Mushroom Hunting and Identification subforum.

Is it normal to have a drop or two of water between the foil and my jarlid after PCing?

Yes that's called condensation....

Books I would suggest: Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms by Paul Stamets Mycelium Running by Paul Stamets
Those two will get you started
As for re-upping on spores, once you get to fruits you can take spore prints under sterile conditions and start the cycle again!
Once you have a successful grow under your belt you can theoretically never buy another syringe.

Also The Mushroom Cultivator even though there is some out of date info in it, I have read it through once and there is quite a lot of good information in there too And yea I'm hoping my prints/LC clones come out sterile (even though I have prints from other members now) but either way once you get spores from a successful grow you will never have to buy a syringe again (unless you want sterile syringes haha)
A good method for this to make sure it's sterile if you are only doing it for yourself is to take a jar that is big enough to fit the cap in it, poke one hole in the lid and cover it with some micropore tape to prevent contams, (in a sterile environment/glovebox) put the cap in the jar and let the spores fall onto the bottom of the jar. Again in a sterile environment take the cap out an now you can sterilize a syringe using Shea's easy syringe sterilization method and squirt that water into the jar so there you have a spore solution. You can suck this up into the syringe and there you have it, sterile spore syringe
