Nintendo Wii
    #13974067 - 02/16/11 02:53 PM (13 years, 16 days ago)

Whats up guys? Well I finally got my Wii back (Sold it in Nov '09 for $350, then bought it back about a week ago for $200).

Since I have not had one in a few years I have been hitting it with a vengeance, so was wondering who here owns a Wii and what games to you play online?

Would love to get some Multi-player going on.

take it easy.

PS - For anyone wondering my Wii's specs are:

Firmware 4.1U (Softmodded with ModMii)
NeoGamma Disc Loader Beta v9
USB Loader

I'm not a huge gamer but I like the goldeneye remake.

New Super Mario bros is a must.

Why not just softmod your Wii? Then you can just download any games you want

Well if you get the ModMii app, it takes like 10 minutes to softmod your Wii with it and the program will auto setup ALL the files you need in order to mod.

However, it really don't make any difference to me if you softmod or just buy your games. I personally love my Softmod Wii and can do SUCH much more with it now (Other then just pirating games).

and yes senya, SPM is a fantastic I have not really been playing to much of it as of late (Been on a HUGE Metroid kick as of late) but I remember back after I first got my Wii I simply could not put Super Paper Mario down, I was madly in love with that game.

I love the art style of the game, it is so visually appealing and along with the fantastic storyline it is less of a game and more of a fine piece of art. Truly Nintendo knew what they were doing with this game as I can't think of a single bad thing to say about it.

Somebody forgot to mention :

Mario strikers: Charged football
Harvest moon: tree of tranquility.

Do you guys have wiimotes or does anybody use their old NGC controller? I find its easyer to play super smash brothers and mario kart with the old remotes from gamecube.

Personally for playing SSBB I find using either the classic controller or the GCN controller to be optimal for me. Same thing for Nights.

I also just added:

MadWorld
Metroid: Other M
Metroid Prime 2: Echos Wii De Asobu

Next thing I think I am gonna get is going to be Punch-Out and Dead Rising.

I may also grab up Dead Space as well.

.....damn, I am getting hooked on the Wii as of late.

Yes they really should. I am sure it will get done eventually (After all the Wii is NOT a kiddy system).

Reguardless of what anyone says, I feel the Nintendo Wii can more then hold its own, and I feel that it is the best current gen console.

Yeah, I am a nintendo fanboy (However, I do miss my PS3)

My biggest complaint is there's too much goddamn story in a lot of the new Wii games...
Sometime I just want to hit play and start playing. Like Contra. Or ____ NES game. Not sit there and scroll through 10 minutes of dialogue to start the first level.
I was raised on Nintendo, but after N64 I stopped with consoles. Then got wii
 my softmodded Wii

You gotta be talking about Super Paper Mario, I tried my damnedest to beat the story boss but just couldn't do it before I was bored to death. :frown:

Everything is better than it was the last time.  I'm good.

If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care.

It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence.

I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too.  If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.

Hahaha... I was thinking of Super Paper Mario when I wrote that.. I played it for the first time last night.... for about 15 minutes.. I made it to the first save point and probably played a total of 30 seconds..
But yeah I've noticed that with a bunch of other wii games too.. too much goddamn story in the beginning
