Maybe they could hire him to be the new Iraqi Information Minister? Seems like he'd be a natural.

johnm214 I remember that spokesperson guy from Iraq, we saw him on TV constantly during the Iraqi regime's downfall, he was funny and ridicules and also a spokesman for Saddam as Saddam's vial regime crumbled under onslaught of overwhelming opposing force, he appeared a joker but WHO knows for sure?
I looked the guy up on the web, his name is Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, apparently hes alive and kicking and living in United Arab Emirates. Good for him... maybe Mohammed Saeed could step in and run Libya when Gaddafi's gone. I bet he would soon reply "fuck off" if asked.

Yeay, I remember watching him on the news during the invasion. Some of his better comments:
"There are no American infidels in Baghdad. Never!"
"I triple guarantee you, there are no American soldiers in Baghdad."
"We will welcome them with bullets and shoes."
"My feelings - as usual - we will slaughter them all"
"Our initial assessment is that they will all die"
"They're coming to surrender or be burned in their tanks."
"No I am not scared, and neither should you be!" "I can say, and I am responsible for what I am saying, that they have started to commit suicide under the walls of Baghdad. We will encourage them to commit more suicides quickly."
"We have destroyed 2 tanks, fighter planes, 2 helicopters and their shovels - We have driven them back."
"They're not even [within] 100 miles [of Baghdad]. They are not in any place. They hold no place in Iraq. This is an illusion ... they are trying to sell to the others an illusion."

Seems like Qaddafi could use him!

True, they did. Throwing shoes at someone is a great insult to them. To us it's, "srsly who throws a shoe"?
Bush had Street Fighter like reflexes and that grin on his face was classic.

I cant remember if he ducked or deflected the shoes but they was well aimed missiles, it was funny to see though and if they had both gone outside to have a street fight to sort the matter out... my money would have been on Bush.

It's starting to look like he was serious about the staying to the death thing. This won't bode well.
Thousands of Migrant Workers Stranded at Libyan Borders and Ports as Violent Clashes Spread: Video Report by Anjali Kamat in Benghazi I thought this was an interesting story about those trying to flee somewhat racist violence in the aftermath of what is becoming a military conflict. Basically black Africans are being attacked because a lot of the mercenaries that Qaddafi has hired are from some of the rougher areas of Africa. The people are assuming because of their colour that they are mercenaries and in many liberated towns it is not safe for them to go around. The most interesting part of the piece was that the same African migrant worker who complained that his friend had been killed and that he couldn't go anywhere for fear of death, expressed support for the liberation and democratization of Libya.
