Partially opening the PC bag to provide non-stop FEA?

Hejho!
I'm in 2nd flush now. Some small pins have already emerged from the soil. Now I wonder...
Is is smart to loosen the PC bag and put the mycobox on shelf in the closet. So that means it will be in dark and with air exchange. It's pretty 'sterile' up there even dust can get hardly in..
What's your opinion on this? Is it better to just provide air 5 times a day? What about darkness - I heard they are more potent if grown that way.
Regards, Nino

I don't have any artificial light instruments. So.. sun light through window is OK?

As soon as it is on its first flush and it reaches 100% you don't have to worry about bacteria, molds, etc....
It now has total control over the substrate, i.e. the growth medium inside the bag.

Oh..
But as far as I can see.. my "project" read my mycobox is not like other projects in jars. Cakes in jars are totally white after mycelium growth. Ehrm.. here is only a few white flakes. Shrooms grow, yes, just I'm not sure it has 100 % control over substrate. Hmmm.....

You are all good. That is 100%. It is likely Coir based which doesn't go completely white upon colonization. YOu definitely want light though brother.

Like I said. I can depend only on sun light. It should be fine. Not amazing. But surely fine. :P

Indirect sunlight is fine, but try to move it to other side of house halfway through the day so you get 12 hours a day of it

The biggest healthiest looking mushrooms I grow are grown under natural sunlight. FYI.

You know those little hand held battery powered fans, those would probably work perfect for your GE in those bags. Just open one side and point it towards the hole and all the gases would escape out the vent holes assuming there are any.
LMAO @ Prof Pinhead
