So yesterday at work i started getting crazy body aches and i was TOTALLY lethargic, like zero energy. I was light headed and somewhat dizzy but i didnt think much of it. today i wake up in a sweat and feeling kinda nauseous, i throw my sheets off and i become freezing. i get up and the nausea subsides to where it isnt noticeable just standing there but i just feel "off", body aches are still there. i get a thermometer and it reads 96 even. About an hour passes and the light headed feeling comes back but now it hits a point of intensity that leaves me thinking "woa" when it happens. very brief feeling, maybe a second, but very weird feeling. way more light headed than dizzy. take my temp again and its 95.8
when would u guys start to get worried? I read hypothermia can set in at 95 degrees :S FYI: sitting here, i dont really feel that sick. its a head thing.

I would at least call an advice nurse. They will probably recommend you be seen though. Drink hot liquids, turn up your heater, bundle up in the mean time.

my cuz went through the same thing and he ended up losing his life. he temp dropped down to 94.6 and was rushed to the hospital. on the way he went into a seizure than a coma. by the time they arrived they had already pronounced him dead.

If the water is at a higher temperature than your body, then it would raise your body temperature. You lose heat when you sweat because of the action of evaporation. Your sweat absorbs heat from your body until it gets warm enough to vaporize, then it takes that energy with it as it escapes into the atmosphere. If you submerge yourself in water, the heat will want to equalize, so if you are colder than the water, the heat will move from the water to your body.
Here is an analogy for you: If you take some frozen chicken out of your freezer, and put it in a bowl of water, does the chicken become colder as the water warms up?

I fucking hate hospitals because they charge you 10,000 when you tell them you are sick, and they have to take your fucking blood 4 times and shit. I mySELF have been in situations where I would almost rather die then go to a hospital
but if you temperature is below 97 then you need to go dude, that is not good. I know your temperature can raise up but when it drops like that NOT good. I think bleeding to death people's heart usually stop when their temperature hits 85 man. lord.

I did have a point. You said that you didn't want to take a bath because it would suck heat from your body and then compared it to the way sweat "actually sucks body heat OUT". I just wanted to let you know why sweat cools your body but a hot bath would work in the opposite way. There is no need to get all testy, it wasn't my intention to offend you...

I'm glad someone here has some sense... Why the fuck would water suck out your body heat?
