a couple of my cars topped off at 145 Those were the days... getting away with driving 100mph, without worrying about getting your license taken away! or maybe they could have, but luckily never did!

That's what I'm saying, it should be a different charge... a speeding ticket shouldn't exist... there should just be 'douchebag' tickets for people who don't know the appropriate time and place to drive fast.

I would call the Focus SVT a rice rocket. Same for the old Neon SRT.

i drive it on the street for the local "summer cruise" and havent been messed with.. but i wouldnt take it into a city..
there is a time and place for everything.. i dont think the street is really the place for fooling around with 1200+lb of steel doing 100+mph.. the physics dont work out.. go to a drag strip or a raceway have fun safely..

i just got s 200 ticket last week for 94 in a 65. 5 points but going to court to hope to cut a deal. Son of a bitch cop was sitting around for like a half hour getting paid to sit in a car on a nice sunny day on the toll road (spent 5 bucks in tolls already) and there was no reason to pull me over beside a bullcrap speed limit that didn't make any sense for that road. Marked me back several hundred feet to get me at 94 instead of when I came near him at 63. Sunny day, two clear lanes of traffic for miles, pretty much straight, and no wildlife in sight. Now that is a frustrating moment. I know that same guy would have sped as well, except he could flash a badge and get out of a ticket. Take my money state take my money fine, but those points are a mother fucker.

yea there was only one time where some assclown was weaving in and out of traffic and I was thinking "This asshole needs to be pulled over but of course, no pig in sight"
minutes up the road he's pulled over getting reamed out by a cop.

Last time I drove from SF to Seattle, I got pulled over in Oregon (of course) doing 78 in a 65 or something like that. I was nice, cop was younger than I am and a nice kid. Walks back to his car, I'm watching him in my mirror, a yellow Audi S4 blows by, he leans down at his radar gun, and runs back up to me, hands me my license and registration, says something like, "I think you've learned your lesson" and takes off in his car and pulls the Audi over up the road. Fucking classic.

dude it must be so fun to be a police officer. they get to race around in those cars and abuse them to fuck and back and the we pay for the service on it. anyone who is not a schmuck could see that the 5-0 get the ultimate perks
that guy in the car can afford 1k, look at the car. i usually drive 35mph to save gas these days... though if i had a 68 camaro it might be a different story
