They didn't have skewl when I was a lad. They had work farms.

Your an Australian which makes you the impurity in a site which seems to have a disproportionate quqantity of people from the US on it. (hmm, what percentage of the english speaking population is in the US, anybody know? Maybe its not disproportionate)
Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary education are common terms in the US as well, thought primary and secondary are more common. I only hear education majors or bureaucrats speaking of "tertiary education"- everyone else just says "college", or in blue lotus's parlance: skewl.Quote:

What is a "psy outline"? I'm guessing this is some term that is used in your course or your prof put on the syllabus which you've presumed to be some universally-understood concept. I also think your wrong, as I've never heard of the term, though only taken the general psych courses (you know, the easy, mindless ones they make you take so they can squeeze more money out of you in classes that are profitable to offer).

Psychology outline -- a method of breaking down several chunks of information into an ingestible format.

Aaah, I see.
We do not use the word "College", but as well as tertiary often refer to "Uni" "Polytech" or "tech."
I say school a lot, but I think I am too old to say "skewl" seriously.
I say tertiary because it encompasses all of the above, while still being reasonably specific.

Distant relation, I suppose I do have a bit of impurity.
