Unreasonable Veto....
    #1396714 - 03/21/03 12:43 AM (21 years, 3 days ago)

Much has been made of the French decision to veto a second resolution if it had came to a vote.

It has been called unreasonable by the idiot UK home secretary.

Of course the US dont veto any resolutions related to peace in the middle east do they?

MORE US HYPOCRISY

Once againh Negroponte is there with elastic and changeable interpretations of UN resolutions.

How can anyone take this bunch of crooks seriously?

WHy does that article say that the US is "virtualy alone in the international comunity" when between puplic and private support there are as many or more nations involved with this coalition that the '91 coalition? Just because France, Germany, and Russia aren't with us?

Because even in the countries where we bribed the government to support us(talk about a waste of taxpayer money!), the people, for the most part, do not. Also, Britain and Australia are the only other countries giving us military aid. Oh ya, and Kuwait's letting us use their bases(of course, if any country really has it in for Saddam, it's Kuwait).

Why is it 15 countries who are members of the so called Coalition of the willing have asked to be kept anonymous? Hardly very willing is it.

Umm maybe because they are afraid of retaliation from others like Saddam, or economic retaliation from France and Germany, or maybe they want EU membership?
Of course it is willing. It would be much easier to oppose us right now wouldn't it?
Oh yea, it's the "conspiracy" isn't it.
C'mon, get real.

Those countries are located within the muslim community. This is the second largest coalition in history and i'm glad the United States is a part of it. with that said. there's still approx 35 countries with us and 15 that are supporting our actions privately.

a coercion would be a more accurate description than coalition.
