Do you talk to yourself?

I don't mean having a conversation with yourself... but I find when I'm in a good mood I'll think some thoughts out loud. Or offer an opinion/comment as if another person was present. It's meant to be a sign of madness I know, but I'm sure it's pretty common. Anyone?

yes. in fact i find it helps me think of ways to say thangs aloud to other people//
like sometimes i'd go through conversations i may have w/ other people in my head, and act it out by myself lol
also it's fun to act out of self-expression in any way. be it dance, speech, playing an instrument, or twirling strangs around
you don't need to be around other ppl to be urself!

what is truly considered "mad"? why are you trying to sest your standards to these "other people".. u know they don't exist, right? these "most people" you think are so perfect and normal and act just the way they should in our society
WHERE DO THE STANDARDS ORIGINATE!! WHO HOLDS THEM<

I do at least once at day.
I doubt it's madness, though. Probably indicates sanity

Im pretty sure this is totally common. If you wanna feel mad try thinking about it while on shrooms tho lol. I did this recently it it was cause the separation of me and the voice became really distinct. Im pretty sure this can be attributed as supporting evidence for our 'minds' not being fully centered in our physical brains. There are other layers to us which exist outside the body and there is a distinct delay between our conscious understanding of something and the brain transcoding that information into speak or something else, like audible thought that is encoded as verbal speech.

I never talk or make any noise when no one else is present.
Sometimes I will realize that I haven't made a single noise for an entire day if I happen to not interact with anybody else.
But that doesn't happen often.

I'm more introverted though, from moving around a lot from growing up I think, so I'm usually content by myself anyways.
I still have a good social life, but I'm also perfectly happy being alone most times.
