What are signs that your fruiting chamber is too wet?

Strains:  Lipa Yai and Texans

What are the obvious signs that your mushies are too wet (assuming adequate FAE) during fruiting?

My room environment changed but the settings on my ultrasonic fogger timer did not and I fear it's too wet.

Many of you are now thinking "why not just put a hydrometer inside?" ..which is flawlessly logical.  However I lost my hydrometer to a large Tosa Inu (Japanese Fighting Dog, long story) and I live kinda far away from town and won't be able to get a new one for a few weeks so I'm wondering if my issues relate to that?

I am not getting a lot of spore drops.  A lot of upturned lips on the caps.  Fat dense meat, tremendous potentcy however.

None of that sounds bad. If you find standing water, that's definitely too wet.

Then I have to wonder what's causing all the weird mushrooms with few spore drops if not moisture...

Odd Odd Odd.  I guess I should just bite the bullet and order some inline HEPA filters for my chambers instead of relying on the little cotton filter in the air pump.  Live and learn.
