quart wbs jars - not stalled, but "paused"......
    #13989120 - 02/19/11 09:02 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

I have 1doz WBS quart jars that are fully colonized and have been for about a week and a half, i simply cannot perform the g2g i want to right now.  i will have to wait about two weeks.  the myc is looking extremely healthy (sorry i dont have pics) with LOTS of fuzzy growth now on the top, i can say it's definitely not a contam, that's not even a concern.

so my question is, what is going to happen to these fully colonized jars if i just let them sit for another two weeks or so?

stalled and paused are the same thing.

The mycelium'll consolidate the substrate in that time making it difficult to break the mycelium apart come time to transfer the colonized grains.  You can slow the growth by placing the jars in the fridge for the 2 week duration period until you can operate on your jars.
