I just finished watching Requiem for a Dream and all I can say is wow. I think I'll stop doing drugs now.

i love that movie, but i will admit that it gets a little rough towards the end. when the guy shoots dope into his already infected arm, and they do a close up of the needle going in....

:zomgwtf:

i know its fake but it made me wanna puke. not to mention the fact that i have a really bad phobia of needles.

I thought Requiem for a Dream was a horrible movie. I knew how it was gonna go down like 10 minutes into it and yet I still managed to some how feel bad/distrubed by the fate of the mother and Jennifer Connely.

So I definitely have food allergies.

I just mixed a drink, with two kinds of chocolate liqueur, a walnut liqueur, and some silver rum, all mixed with milk.
I took a few sips of the drink. Sat here cruising the shroomery, and within a minute or two I began uncontrollably sneezing.

Now my nose is running pretty intensely and it feels like Hay Fever has kicked in basically.

So tomorrow, I'm going to split up each of the liqueurs (because I know it's not the rum), and take a shot of each and wait five minutes to see which I have an allergic reaction to.
Then I'll look over the ingredients in the targeted drink and try to isolate those to see which one actually bothers me.

My allergies are bad enough that they make it hard to function in my day to day life at times; so if I can pinpoint down what causes them, it would be a huge success for me.

I have a feeling it's the way I'm sitting. I'm on my bed and I have one of those chair cushion things designed for leaning against on a bed. But it still hurts my back to sit that way for some reason.

And its like the pain is just being amplified. No matter how I sit, even if I lay down, it still hurts bad. I took an advil and it didn't even help.

I had a back spasm once, only flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) took the hurt away.

It was serious, though. Until I went to the hospital it was six hours of hot showers, hot compresses, and rolling around in pain smoking bud and drinking to try and distract myself into unconsciousness.

Damn, that sounds horrible. Is there anything in particular that caused it you think?

I'm scared I'm going to have those someday.
I'm only 19, but I have mild scoliosis, and I already suffer worse than most people from lower back pains.
I really need to go see an orthopedist, and start practicing yoga.

you know thinking about, and focusing on the pain makes it much worse. i feel for you though. after my wreck i went through a period of time where i would have the most excruciating back pains. they would last all night, and i'd even vomit from the intensity of them. :hurtsbadman:

I took 40 mg of oxy and somersaulted/played ultimate frisbee all day long. Pretty sure I hurt myself then and just didn't feel it until the opioids wore off.

I somersault all the time, though, so I guess I landed one wrong, didn't notice, and just continued to fuck it up without realizing.

never had a back  problem before, or since (except with minor ache from hunching and dicing/lifting and carrying at work).

If you're rolling forwards on the ground, you can't roll straight down your back, you have to roll from one shoulder, diagonally across to your hip on the other side.
