its interesting that this is such an emotionally charged debate. people must be so unhappy with the current state of things that they want it it to end, so any hint of danger gets blown out of proportion. maybe its because we cant see any kind of future based on the way we live now.
or we really can feel something up ahead maybe the bible has hoodwinked us into believing that Armageddon is coming.
what difference does it make anyway, the only thing that would piss me off is if the experts are not telling us the whole story, and we could be preparing ourselves which would up chances of survival if the shit does hit the fan

No one's suffering because of your posts, however much you may want to believe that.
P.S. Society is still here, so I guess you were wrong about that too. But maybe if you really believe, you can make it come true!

I was on my cell phone all day today calling customers and placing orders. Not a damn problem.
No one I know or talked to today (over 30 people) mentioned any problems with their phones except my friend who ran out of minutes on his prepaid.
No problems with the house phone, TV, Internet, WiFi or anything with 3g on my phone. Hell, even the TV remote works.
So much for widespread disruptions.

You have me on ignore since your a whiny drunkard, but that was only a hiccup theres gonna be CME's and solar flares in the coming year far beyond class X. NASA reported a upcoming solar storm of never before seen intensity, this is just the beginning of the buildup to the climax. Communications and possibly electrical grids will be disrupted at its peak.
A minor annoyance.

Well I know nobody clicked my links but my jaw dropped when I read this:
The strongest geomagnetic storm on record is the Carrington Event of August-September 1859, named after British astronomer Richard Carrington who witnessed the instigating solar flare with his unaided eye while he was projecting an image of the sun on a white screen. Geomagnetic activity triggered by the explosion electrified telegraph lines, shocking technicians and setting their telegraph papers on fire; Northern Lights spread as far south as Cuba and Hawaii; auroras over the Rocky Mountains were so bright, the glow woke campers who began preparing breakfast because they thought it was morning. Best estimates rank the Carrington Event as 50% or more stronger than the superstorm of May 1921.

Fuck I hope I get to see the aurora borealis. At least we should get a nice light show if the electrical grid is down

Okay while I do believe the earth will eventually be destroyed by our idiotic ignorance it is not that soon.
I must ask. Everyone that believes all this 2012 is true.
Where did you first learn of 2012 and what convinced you to believe?
The only thing Im seeing here is the change in calendar.

I think it's pretty obvious. I said everyone I know had no cellphone or other electronic disruption.
What problems did you and everyone else have?
