This video is for those interested in the hallucinogenic healing properties of Iboga, the African herb used to treat addiction. I hear it's magical, inviting, invoking, and life-changing in its experience.
I hope you find some sort of interest in this video, or at least know somebody who could possibly benefit from seeing it. The more you know!
Also, apologies in advance if I don't embed this correctly.
This is only part 1 of 6. You'll be able to continue watching through the related videos on the YouTube sidebar. Enjoy!

watched the first two so far, pretty interesting. It's funny though the guy talking about how it's ironic that it would be a schedule 1 drug because even though it's a hallucinogen it helps people get over addictions. Ha they've found that with just about all the more potent psychedelics; LSD, Psylocybin, Ayahuasca, Peyote... This one does sound like it's especially potent though, I'd love to try it. So where would you get this stuff, since it's illegal and it doesn't sound like it's a very popular drug that your dealer might have in his root cellar. Is there some loop hole like the seeds are legal or something?

That's actually a really good question that I've asked myself many times before. How the hell does one find this shit? How do you go about even asking for it on the streets? Apparently it's legal in Mexico, and I think the clinic that the one guy Cy goes to is located there.
What I think is almost even nuttier is the fact that this drug is almost unheard of in modern America.. I wish the world could open its eyes (as opposed to its legs) and get back on the road to healing and understanding!

I'm pretty sure Graham Hancock's book Supernatural starts with his description of an Ibogaine trip. Sounds like some crazy shit. I really recommend the book it's a great read.

Saw this about a year ago, great documentary. It's beyond me how this substance could be scheduled as "a substance with high potential for abuse and no medicinal value."

I'm really liking this. I love how articulate that shaman guy, with all the crazy paint, is. It's clearly not just a bunch of savages getting fucked up in the jungle. Which I'm sure is the image people in the FDA get whenever someone brings up researching Iboga.

In the BBC documentary Tribe (I think it's called Going Tribal in the US), the presenter Bruce Parry takes iboga with the Babongo tribe, I think it is. Really interesting. He also takes yopo with the Sanema, and ayahuasca with another tribe in the series Amazon.

Fuckin love Bruce Parry's documentaries. Apparently he goes to psytrance festivals too My hero I read that someone asked him at a festival if he'd brought back any mad drugs from the Amazon and he said 'yeah, but I've had it all'.
