Cosmic HUMOR, come up with some examples!

I was wondering if we could get a thread going with examples of cosmic humor
The above video is about THE COSMIC JOKE
But what about examples of cosmic humor in general
I will start
1) How a small thing like a human being, who is when you look at the darkest spot in outer space and see all the galaxies, how this small thing has all of the universe, not to mention all of the universes, inside it, living out it's creation in that small subjective part
2) Obame Hussien... come on Osama Obama, and Saddam hussien
3) How Pink Floyd dark side of moon synchs up with wizard of oz... though they were not made for each other...
Can you name some? Let's get a big list going

A lot of people believe it does. Others don't. I have never tried it, but have been recommended to do so as people say it blows their minds.

It is amazing how many synchs up there are out there to discover
The most impressive one I discoverd
Is Pink Floyd's Sauserful of Secrets, started at the beginning of the universal logo in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

As for a cosmic joke, there are infinite numbers in between 0 and 1.

I've seen the others and wasn't too impressed....except for the scene in Alice and the Wall with the dancing cards and shit. That was pretty good.
This would be interesting to see...

I was being driven to a Crisis Unit out of my mind and an advertisement on the side of a bus read, 'Winning its a Trip!' as it drove down a cross street.

That I'm alive as a human being always struck me as absurd in a cosmically funny kind of way.

Well it sort of struck me funny that the people that are immersed in more physical matters are the ones that are the most spiritually enlightened!

Robert Anton Wilson
On January 6, Wilson wrote on his blog that according to several medical authorities, he would likely only have between two days and two months left to live. He closed this message with "I look forward without dogmatic optimism but without dread. I love you all and I deeply implore you to keep the lasagna flying. Please pardon my levity, I don't see how to take death seriously. It seems absurd." He died peacefully five days later, on January 11 at 4:50 a.m. Pacific time.

Glad someone else has witnessed the same absurdity.... People don't get it sometimes. And it's hard for me to understand why... I mean come on.. Suddenly, here I am on this strange garden planet with a pale orb circling in the heavens, I don't remember where I was before, or if I even was before. Here I am with these strange creatures who I am twiddling my fingers, bantering on about being alive with, not to mention I happen to be one of them... And I have no idea why I'm here, where I REALLY am or what I really am, besides what can be observed through the more subtle and obvious... So bizarre...

:thumbsplit: Something I've always wondered is why my consciousness is in THIS particular body, as opposed to being someone in Asia, or someone who lived 400 years ago. Why am I aware at this particular portion of the space/time continuum?

dude, saucerful of secrets, after piper at the gates of dawn, is their second album. it's the longest most tripped out album they did. How could that album not synch up with any movie ever made?
it has SO many synch points, the songs change up like every 30 seconds even if it's the same song
I found this out when playing that c.d. to so many movies and seeing it synch up with every single one of them.
and yes, dark side of the moon synchs up with many parts of the wizard of oz, but not everything in the wizard of oz synchs up with it. many scenes don't, and many scenes are completely out of synch with where the songs change and go into solos. that could simply be another album with many synch points that it's just so coincidental how often it synchs up.
I'll give you this though, in any album, played to any movie, where things just start 'synching up' all the time, it's always mind blowing. even if it is pure coincidence. I've done it with a few movies and a few albums, and whenever thing synch up a few times in a row, always seems nuts. I'm pretty sure though most of the time it's a complete coincidence, unless it's the sound track to a movie. who knows.

Raven and Cypher, same here. Just seems so odd for me to be what I am. Supposedly my concious is just the result of a bunch of electrical signals going through nerves in a temporary organ. But if I control these electrical signals, what physical thing am I to control them? Am I the electricity? Am I just the energy of freedom?

I agree, you can find synch ups in a lot of albums and movies, but there are the sync ups that work and there are those that are don't work, and degrees of both.
Me and my friends give them grads... a really good sync up is an A, and really bad one is an F
