They arnt neutral, are they? I listened to the BBC mostly with respect to the Egypt revolution, they were clearly biased towards the protesters. And why shouldn't they be? Sometimes, expectations of neutrality are not reasonable.

25% if Bahrain owns small arms, if the police and military are killing people in their sleep and taking them via snipers, that 25% with arms is what you need to rely on... unless they are Sunni
from your views can you give us an idea of what the objectives of this revolution are, will you just be ousting the king or do you believe the security response will increase
if the whole of government is toppled will the security forces try and seize control or is there another strong leader looking for the spot

Your king's actions are appalling Bareed. My condolences.
Hopefully he and those who carried out his orders to kill innocent protesters will be tried and punished after the people of Bahrain take control of their country. The cowardly monarch should not be allowed to escape like other tyrants who have recently fallen.

Thanks friend,

A new union call it self 'National Unity' generated by Sunni after Crone Prince Salman bin Hamad call for conference. This unity generated to participate in this conference to try to decrease our demands.
It is not easy to control country after revolution but we can hold it and getting out with less losses...

Here’s how: last week, two Libyan pilots were ordered to bomb civilian protesters by Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi. They faced an unimaginable choice: bomb their countrymen or face likely execution if they returned without carrying out the attacks. Instead, they found a third option - flying their planes out of Libya and defecting to the nearby island nation of Malta. In doing so, they saved the lives of untold numbers of their fellow Libyans.
But now Malta's Refugee Commissioner Mario Guido Friggieri and President George Abela have refused to say whether they will give these pilots asylum. If the pilots are sent back to Libya, they will likely be executed. That outcome would also prevent military pilots and ship captains who receive similar orders from trying to save their own lives and the lives of their fellow Libyans.

Good to hear from you man.
The new government should most definitely be a government of and for all people, regardless of religion. Sunni, Shiite, Hindu, Christian... we are all parts of the human species. Respect for humanity transcends religion in peaceful democratic society.

the new media in the US is sure to keep us updated on that's happening in Libya but I've heard almost no mention of the violence in Bahrain in our news and what little there is tells us about the violence inflicted by protesters against the soldiers and police, with a death toll of about 12
thank you again bareed for bringing this news to us

how many wars are there exactly?since there is not much oil in bahrain i believe that is the reason there is a lack of focus on it, it is more hmm ethnic religious? i think many people here don't seem to understand taht those civil wars are in reality conflicts between ethnicities trying to have leadership. The problem is taht those people are trying to get over this system where all ethnicities are corrupted and fight strictly for their gains, and that is gaddafi. Those democratic regimes need to have democratic rule of law, and that is why when we encourage to revolt in the middle east our populations don't exactly know what the fuck we are talking about.

Looks like dinosaur bones.
1 The hand of the LORD was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign LORD, you alone know.”
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life...'”

This is exactly a racist conception of history. you cannot dialogue with the race, you must impale the leader in front of all of them. you cannot replace their leader, you must impale the leader in front of all of them so that they remember in a 1000 year to never elect a leader such as him. more importantly, you cannot wage a war against them in the same way as all, you must do it in a special perverted way that in reality actually means fuckall. the invention of the nuclear bomb is enough for japan to surrender. a nuclear bomb being shot somewhere where the japanese nation could simply feel a bit of the explosion followed by strong propaganda would have been far enough , and just like the king of france, the people of the united states still believe the nuclear bomb was a good idea.
Such is the way of the left, a noble reaction against the psychological power that the king had on all their subjects, which they justly revolted with anger, more anger. The king was guillotined and up to nowdays they still want to hang kings, while they should be living on an island like napoleon.
you are however, right, the japanese nation has in its constitution strong words against militarism, it doesn't mean anything in reality, it is only foreign invasion. The japanese inevitably psychologically feel

It has nothing to do with racism. Their leader wasn't impaled, the emperor was allowed to remain the emperor. They never elected him to begin with.

That outcome would also prevent military pilots and ship captains who receive similar orders from trying to save their own lives and the lives of their fellow Libyans.
hm, we should have international islands or boats to control refugees and have it under tight surveillance, to be honest, i am kinda sick of all those bullshit, refugees like those people are not retarded, they very well know their own economic condition will get better if they defect. I tend to support ghaddafi sadly, as there is no viable prospects, however france has declared that it supports tribal leaders and their decision, to be honest, i would prefer a national democracy to federate it, but i do believe in the dismantlement of nations into a tribal familial order. Problems is that Sarkozy's support for those people is purely political

Gaddafi is closer to being an ancient Baathist than most new arab regimes, they are anti-united states and arab socialists, without explicitly naming himself an arab nationalist or an arab socialist. i have this hypothesis The fight is between arab nationalist and islamist. against the purely nationalistic lybians who want to keep their oil as well as the democratic forces, regular conservative/liberals like we have here. Al-qaeda which is only an idea put forward by the americans and like the protocols of sion they form their own organisation.
Gaddafi is a great Anti-Imperialist. however he is too close to italy and so on, sadly it represents a certain form of colonialism. he is however probably much more closer to what the true arab people want than the other rebels sadly.

Thing is, lybia could have funded all of us communist, fascist, revolutionaries a long time ago but our stupid ancestors told us not to talk to lybia because the leaders are not called the communist party of lybia.
Because lybia plants bomb in europe and the united states always gets away with their terrorist attack.

actually the US refused their surrender terms a couple of times prior to dropping the atomic bombs
Which might as well have been refusal to surrender.
the terms the US refused on was that the emperor remain in place
funny how things worked out

Quote:
NPR praised the end of this uprising in Bahrian
That is hilarious. Before a moderator deleted my factually correct and very prophetic post I wrote the following.
When Akhmed the OP stated their officials would be held accountable for what they were doing, I stated they would not. I told him and others there would be no change of guard, there would be no compromise, the protests would be crushed, the protesters either killed or humiliated and forced to follow the will of the king. I even bet 27 virgins that they would accomplish nothing. I want my virgins, and no, camels don't count.
I stated there was no way in hell their arab neighbors would allow this type of unrest to spill onto their shores. The Saudis and others would put an end to their protests and normalcy would return to the kingdom, and it has. Once again I believe we all knew that regardless of what other Arab nations did, what their own rulers did, we the U.S. would be held accountable for the protesters failure, and ultimately the mantra of death to America and Israel would be heard yet again. You can see the pics of the peaceful protesters burning the american flag, chanting death to America. You can also see posters with pics stating Saudi America, infering we had something to do with the Saudi intervention. Once again we are accountable for their failures.
I also stated the peaceful protesters were anything but. Once again it is just more ridiculous and irrational dark age fundamental islamist infighting. As for the peacefulness of the protesters have you seen the stories of how they have burned down the houses of Pakistanis, attacked foreign workers with steel pipes and swords? WTF, swords? Do these racist archaic desert dwellers still believe saladin is alive? http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20110322/wl_asia_afp/bahrainpoliticsunrestpakistanlabour_20110322023158
I said no one gives a shit, and no one does. As the world can see the protests for what they are. Iranian backed zealots, following the 1500 year old teachings of a perverted paedophile. If the king were to be overthrown we would have another sunni/shia civil war, massive bloodshed, and of course an inept, violent, islamist based gov. very similar to Iraq. Of course, this too would be the fault of the West.

Bullets vs. doughnuts: Bahrain, Yemen and the US response
Quote:
The media and the public are understandably paying a lot of attention to the brutal repression of the rebellion in Libya and the US and allied response. However, while debate rages about the proper response to Qaddafi’s violent push against the rebels, the suffering civilians of Bahrain and Yemen, whose governments have a much cozier relationship with the US, have been largely ignored.
One of the eternal frustrations of those of us who advocate for a foreign policy based on respect for human rights and peaceful resolution of conflict is how selectively the US applies its standards and uses its considerable clout in the global community. The US has had a middling response so far to the crackdowns in Bahrain and Yemen, opposing violence “on both sides” (particularly maddening given the lopsidedness of the violence here) but avoiding harsh rhetoric, while not utilizing the leverage it has with these governments to push for a peaceful solution. Bahrain and Yemen have been buried in the mainstream news, removing one of the pressure points on the administration to take a stronger stand and fuel for the world to be moved by outrage to call for action. As Think Progress reports, Libya was mentioned 9,524 times by major cable news networks last week, while Bahrain and Yemen only going 1,587 and 599 mentions respectively.

We think in peaceful more than any other choice because we play alone and every one attack us because the govt. try to turn it from political demands to sectarians demands.
With peaceful movements we bring shame to authorities in Bahrain and whom supporting them.
** Excuse me, these days we face the most ugly and brutal crackdown even when we are sleeping in our houses or at work. I can't post news everyday but i will keep you update as i can.

Two Bahraini protesters die in police custody
Manama, Bahrain - Bahraini authorities said Saturday two protestors have died in separate incidents, marking the third time in a week that opposition detainees have died in custody. Ali Isa Saqer, 31, died before reaching the hospital, the Interior Ministry said. Saqer, who was being held for attempted murder of policemen he allegedly tried to run-over on during unrest on March 13, was unruly inside the detention centre and the use of force was required, the ministry said. The statement did not clarify if other detainees were involved or injured in Saqer incident.
Dear, Thanks for asking.
A lot of Bahraini's becomes political and human rights activist on internet. They spread the news of tortures and intimidation done by Bahrain authorities backed by Saudi army. The very disturb images shared on internet make media move to find the truth about Bahrain Protests.

Inconsistencies in Televised Confession of Bahraini Protesters Who Were Sentenced to Death
A military court in Sunni-ruled Bahrain sentenced four Shiite Muslim protesters to death for killing two policemen during demonstrations last month. Three other activists were sentenced to life in prison for their role in the policemen's deaths. But human rights activists have argued that the verdicts were the result of a number of legal abuses, including the arrest of one of the defendants' lawyers during the trial, the fact that the suspects weren't able to meet with their families, and the closed nature of the military trial. Despite the fact that the media were barred from the courtroom itself, the suspects' "confessions" (for some reason, Bahrainis on Twitter keep using scare quotes around that) were aired on national TV. The 24-minute segment, which includes a voice-over and dramatic score, plays like a Dateline reenactment.
