thin mycelium growth in pf jars *PICS*

Okay, this is my friends first grow, and she is using 1/4 pint jars.. I know most will say those aren't the right jars! She understands this already, just a little experiment. anyhow.. the jars have become fully covered in mycelium a few days ago. Growth was very rhizomorphic the whole time, the strain is mazatapec from sporeworks. her problem now is that the mycelium looks kind of thin. like she can see the verm+brf sub through it. in some areas it is very thick and other areas it seems thin. the thin areas are the points that first started to colonize, idk if that has anything to do with it? they are in the consolidation week, if things dont start to look thicker should she wait to birth them?.. also there is a lot of water dropplets it looks like sitting on top the the myc. or dtained to the sides of the glass. the jars are flipped/no tape or tinfoil.. only thing i can think to do is have her loosen the lids for co2 exchange?? heres some pics. any comments are appreciated.
thin ares..

some more thin areas..

and heres the normal looking thick areas..

Okay thanks for the feedback after the consolidation week is up, should they still be birthed if things still look this way? it looks as if its waterproof. like if the water droplets touch the myc. it will roll off.
