Ozzy Osbourne: I still get flashbacks from LSD

Ozzy Osbourne: I still get flashbacks from LSD

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that he suffers from “wobblers” – because of all the LSD he took in the past.

The British rocker, 62, said he took so much of the hallucinogenic drug during his Black Sabbath days that he often gets flashbacks, which leave him feeling anxious.

He said: “I still get the after-effects of LSD to this day.

“I call them my ‘wobblers’.

“In a flash, every little problem freaks me out and becomes the end of the world.”

Birmingham-born Osbourne, who has been sober for several years, told a US magazine: “In my experience, LSD is great until it isn’t.

“One minute, you’re running down Miami Beach with a foam finger on your head, the next you’re sticking a gun in your best friend’s face.”

He added: “If you keep taking that s***, it’s going to bite you on the balls.”

OZZY OSBOURNE has spoken about the dangers of taking LSD in his latest Rolling Stone magazine column, revealing he still suffers from the after-effects from his use of the drug.

The fun-loving rocker got serious when one fan asked him about the effects of LSD after confessing he uses the mind-bending drug to get high with pals.

The Iron Man singer writes, "LSD is a great time until it isn't. One minute you're running down Miami Beach with a foam finger on your head, the next you're sticking a gun in your best friend's face.

"I still get the after-effects of LSD to this day - I call them my 'wobblers'. In a flash, every little problem freaks me out and becomes the end of the world."

And addressing his LSD-using email sender, Ozzy adds, "Seriously, man, be careful. If you keep taking that s**t, it's gonna bite you on the balls."

Irresponsible drug-using rocker turned into mainstream USA sitcom star is now a credible source linking anxiety and LSD use from decades ago?

Whoever takes his word must have less brain cells than him.

I always hated that whiny sack of shit.

Ozzy's a champ!

I remember when that show "The Ozbourns" was on MTV, I always used to get a good laugh watching Ozzy stumble around mumbling all fucked up.

Sounds more like he's having panic attacks, and thinks that's somehow linked to his past LSD use.

What about all the heroin and other drugs hes done.  I don't think he can say that him getting shitty now can be blamed on LSD alone or that they can be called flashbacks.

That's in the Sunday Times newspaper. And it isn't serious advice, it's quite funny.

Guys, I get a little twitch in my hand sometimes... It had to have been the LSD I took 10 years back!

That's almost funny coming from one of the most prolific of drug users in recent times. He's snorted more coke and shot more heroin to give any druggie in the world a run for their money. He's snorted ants, lapped up piss off the ground, and bit the head off a dove? Or bat? Anyway I don't take drug advice from ozzy too seriously.

Ozzy Osbourne is an idiot for thinking it's the LSD that made him put a gun in a friend's face or imbued him with the vulnerability for occasional panic attacks.

Man there are soo many stupid young idiots on this board.  The point is that all the drugs and booze taken in the amounts he took pushed him beyond a certain point.  The point where they are toxic and do have a detrimental effect.  Anybody that says you can take sheets of acid over say a year or more and there isn't some type of effect is just a complete idiot.  He can blame the drugs all he wants, but ultimately they were his choices and he has to live with the results of them.  Liberty should allow you to do whatever you wanna do as long as your not harming others and just yourself.  Then you get to live with the results of that.  Anybody on this board that says consistent overuse of any drug is not harmful needs to go to college and get a degree in a health science field.  The point is to use them to enhance your life when its already going great not to create the situation of it being 'great' and then you come off and your back to being depressed or whatever.  That right there easily sets you up for addiction whether it be sugar or cocaine or heroin or lsd or nicotine or caffeine

What a dick~

Ozzy has done so many drugs; when I say so many I mean many different types constantly and at the same time. How the hell does he know that its the LSD that bites him in the ass today, or how does he know that it was not the excessive cocaine / heroin / insert any drug here that he was taking.

I am not trying to hate on Ozzy but is this the best anti drug spokes person they can find? The guy did so many MULTIPLE drugs you can;t even understand a word he's saying, and he's only 62. He might be legandary but he's a fucking moron too. :gd_icon::peace:

Also, unless I am reading the article incorrectly or something, he did not blame it on "all the drugs and booze"....he blamed it solely on LSD

Ozzy is full of shit. I still don't completley hate him though

I doubt the LSD is but a SMALL SMALL part of whatever semi-psychotic breaks this guy has. But it couldnt have been the years of alcohol, heroin, or speed abuse, or the admitted sexual abuse and mental unstability, and years of hard partying.

No it had to have been the LSD....
