That no extension of our underlying potential for longevity, humans have always been capable of living to 100-120 theres just never been a environment as conducive to human life as there has been in recent years.

It is within the realm of possibility that we may be able to alter our own DNA, protein expressions, etc. This would mean that you could potentially live alot longer. If you had retroviruses programmed to "maintain" your genotype... I would like better vision with infra-red preaze.

I read an article in Time Magazine today about the progress of humans and technology and in it they talk about an idea called 'The Singularity'; where humans will know the recipe for immortality and it will come from the end of the Human Era, where machines and humans merge.

It also talks about an experiment they did with age degenerated Lab Mice and administered an enzyme called 'Telomerase' to stop the aging process; it worked & the mice actually got younger too.

I still haven't decided what I think about everything I took in, so I'm gonna post it here to maybe spark up some conversation about it.
