depends on how many flushes before the contam hits or the myc becomes too weak to produce.....but an overrall estimate. 1 to 2 months

It isn't recommended that you let them sit for too long before inoculating...They are due tuesday for delivery but you never know for sure.... The reason you shouldn't let them sit long is that anytime you sterilize your BRF or grain jars you will be killing MOST of the contams, the very few that survive will be "critically injured" to the point where it will take them a long time to recover and get a foothold inside the jars. You are basically "fixing" the race between contams and your mycelium. So by the time your mycelium fully colonizes the jar it will be too strong to be taken over by the contams that are recovering......You would probably be fine letting them sit for a day or two but just remember this "race" i described

Yeah, I don't see a problem with letting them sit a day. But I've heard even the best sterilization won't kill 100% of the contams....

one day isn't major, but as someone above mentioned it may take longer for them to arrive in the mail.

No, you don't let them sit a few days....Just let the BRF jars sit until cooled inside the pot you sterilized in....This can take a few hours at least...and don't take them out early..

3 to 7 days more or less dependind on your inoc skills, how wet the sub is temp and all that, I would say probably no more than 5 days to see some growth no matter what

7 days is normal from spores, particularly at lower room temps. sounds like your doing good.

SO HAPPY! i checked on my jars today after a couple days and they are just exploding in growth! almost all visible substrate is colonized in over half the jars! and none of them show any signs of contamination! quick question though, once i see that all the substrate is covered in mycelium, i wait one week and then they are 100% colonized, correct?

Wait a week AFTER the jar is 100% colonized (which is when 100% of the jar is white)....This is called consolidation. In short, this allows the mycelium to digest more nutrients and produce more/healthier fruits...
