Not trying to belittle you, but you just line up the holes in the mobo with the holes inside the case. Then you put screws (which hopefully came with the mobo or the case) through and screw them in. Maybe a picture could help? I could point out where the mobo will mount...

Well it's going to be 10X easier to install the mobo without the CPU, heatsink, and RAM on there. That shit is heavy.
If you take a pic, I could try to help more.

Usually put the MoBo in first. I put the heat sink on, and then put the MoBo on. Take everything off but the heat sink/CPU.
You should have little metal screws that have a raised head and a screw hole on that... These go in your case as little stands, then you screw your MoBo onto them.
edit -
These,

Screw the brass posts to your case, lay the MoBo on the posts, screw the MoBo into the posts.

most heatsinks require a plate on the back of the mobo...

For example... in this picture... I've circled the metal standoffs. Once you've seen them, you can spot them from a mile away.

Intel does, AMD has the bracket already installed on the MoBo. In either case, I think its best to leave the MoBo, but take everything else off.

Do you see the big holes in the motherboard surrounded by a metal ring?
Now place the mobo in the case and find out where those holes line up with the stand off holes in the case.
Don't screw the mobo down with holes that don't have the metal ring around it.
Does this make sense?

you talking about the little orange washer?, set the MB on the metal posts, the screw goes through the red washer and then screws the MB to those posts. the standoffs are plastic, they can go in the remaining holes but preferably in an area where you'll be putting pressure like card slots and power connections... then ya screw it down with the mentioned washer/screw combo

is the PNY GeForce 9800 GT graphics card compatiable with the GIGABYTE S-SERIES GA-H55M-S2V MOBO?
oh, i got the mobo screwed in. im hoping i did it right... i did drop a screw a couple of times onto the mobo due to shaky hands. i did stay grounded the entire time though.

Does it fit in the slot? If it does it should work.
