Hello!
I bought a mycobox cubensis b+ and now I'm in 3rd-4th day of fruiting.
Today I saw little pins (2-3 cm) who had their caps gray and not brown. So I decided to gently pick them out. 1 though was attached to 2 other, bigger shrooms, so when I took it out I caused blue bruising on mushroom.
+
If I shake the box a little all shrooms stand still except this two are tingling a little bit..
Now my question is. Will they grow further or is it possibility that they wont live anymore... which means I could eat them. I'm really impatient as you can see... :P

Regards, Nino

Oh. Well it has some ventilation through filter, but I guess you're right. I should open the plastic bag couple of times a day.

P.S.
So practicaly I delayed my growth because not enough oxygen was present?

yes, they need fresh air exchange while fruiting. thats one of few thing that trigger pinning. you should open the bag and fan it manually.

lack of FAE makes tall lanky stems...providing more fresh air by fanning them 3-5 times a day will produce much more meatier thicker stems..as well bigger shrooms all around..

Also, lack of FAE=mold.

By faning you mean...
Is it ok to just open the bag for 30 seconds and provide some fresh air... or do you need special gadgets ? ^ˇ

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realize: 1. To move or cause a current of (air) with or as if with a fan. 2. To direct a current of air or a breeze upon, especially in order to cool: fan one's face. 3. To stir (something) up by or as if by fanning: fanned the flames in the fireplace; a troublemaker who fanned resentment among the staff. 4. To open (something) out into the shape of a fan: The bird fanned its colorful tail. 5. a. To fire (an automatic gun) in a continuous sweep by keeping one's finger on the trigger. b. To fire (a nonautomatic gun) rapidly by chopping the hammer with the palm. 6. To winnow. 7. Baseball To strike out (a batter).
We're all learning. Even new meanings of words. =)

Open the bag and then close it loosely a few times daily at least, for fresh air exchange.
Next time, wait to pick your aborts when you pick the rest of the flush. I doubt the two which got damaged will continue to grow. RR
