Usually less that 5 days, but it can be up to 3 weeks in extreem cases.
If you put the spores on the glass, it should be visible in 4-5 days.

7-14 days to see growth from spores is pretty standard.

that depends on alot of variables, did you use 4 point method of injecting spores? are they in an area 75- 80 degrees F.? how many ml`s of spore water did you inject? i use 2ml per half pint jar. i usually see growth in about 4-5 days but i incubate my jars- some folks say not to because of contam. risk. some people say it could take up to 2 Weeks. i know when i used spore tech syringes i didnt see anything ever! i now use ralphster`s spores and have great results. i wouldn't leave foil on top of capped jars that have a vermiculite layer on top, foil will hinder FAE and could effect your grow- peace to my nigga drizzay

patience is key bro.... usually up to a week or two. I had jars take about 3wks when i first started... Somtimes depending on where you inoculated it it can grow from the middle or top where you cant see.... but typically youll see growth in the middle or bottom... my 2 cent

I have my cakes sitting in the top of my closet with a heater on the bottom on the floor set on its built in thermostat. It has kept it 73-79F
And it took about 3-4 days for my spores to start germinating and about 3 weeks to fully colonize. Im currently awaiting the consolidation before i birth.

65-72 is ok enough that I wouldn't use a space heater. Maybe a styro cooler with a jar of warm water, but nothing more aggressive than that.

Perfect, right on time. Now, here's the hard part- don't look at the jars. Leave them alone, don't touch them or hassle them, let them be. Try not to look for another week. If you are tempted, make new jars instead.
75 is nifty, you can even bump up gently to 78ish. I wouldn't go above that. And really, room temp is fine.

Dont pick them up and if you want to i'd just GENTLY move the jars around as to not disturb the dry verm layer in the top if you wanna take pics or whatever.
But other than that just leave them alone and dont disturb them.

The higher the temps the faster it'll grow but if you go over 80F your risking contams
