I have, it just doesn't make sense to me. Sorry if i blew up. I guess I'm just a little agitated about the (new) war and whatnot.

You have to use a decent fully submersible aquarium heater or your going to get bad results. Not all heaters are built with pride...you buy a cheap brand you might have problems.
Ebo Jagar brand is excellent...works great...I have used one of the same Ebo Jager submersible aquarium heaters for almost 20 years...used it when I had fish. Still going strong!
Tronic brand is good...and works great. They are on 24/7....for months and even over a year on end...and have never had a heater burn out on me.
These 2 brands cost more $$$$ but they are well worth it.
Tronic 200 watt submersible aquarium heater inside a large rubbermaid.

I use 2 different size rubbermaids.

The smaller rubbermaid goes on top of the larger one.

I have had 6 incubators running at a time...don't tell me they don't work.
good luck!

2-33 gallon rubbermades. I like Roadkills smaller in bigger idea more then this but needed a little more space but not enough to make another incubator.

Yeah but mine doubles as a bulk substrate incubator. You put your spawn in the smaller one...let it colonize...case it...let that colonize....then pull it out and shove it in the Greenhouse.
And you wondered why I had 6...didn't cha?

Roadkill, a BIG bagful of poo was appropriated today with your tek in mind. Good old police horses in Hyde Park! However, because it came from a dirty track, it's all covered in stones and stuff. Should they be rinsed off?
Also, it's pretty fresh - do i soak it to leach out ammonia? do i dry it out until it's white? and how soon can i get busy with it? It looks like these horses eat nothing but straw, so i don't think it needs mixing with any extra!
