Whatman syringe filter/Co2 Exchange?

Anyone actually know how much Co2 exchange the Whatman Syringe 0.2 um filter provides if any at all?!

Obviously it provides some...why does it matter? Those aren't meant for grains...they're used for LC's...
Use SFD (synthetic filter disks) or tyvek for grain...

O yea, they don't allow anything in or out over .22 um

I said nothing about what I was using 'em for. It's for LC.
Just wanted to know if they give any Co2 exchange at all or else it's just a waste of money...
Anyone did a side by side comparison with none filter at all and one with Whatman syringe filter? Any link?

syringe filters are made by a lot of different brands. what you want is .2 micron. As for their purpose, They will exchange air when there is movement within the jar (stir bar). You can also manually exchange air through the filter via empty leur-lock syringe

In this case I'm using Whatman and 0.2 micron, and I got it on a magnetic stirrer
