I used to live outside Binghamton, that place fucking sucked.  Nothing to do except get drunk and shoot skeet, or drive around on dirt bike.  Shit gets real old real fast.

I know I've thought this more than once, but for some reason I remember him posting a REALLY long time ago (relative to how long I've been here) about going to a Wolf Eyes show. Guess it was someone else.

just ribbin ya

the thing is, you are making an identity statement whether you like it or not, with everything you do.

Some hipsters (the ones who are actually cool) don't ultimately give a fuck about how they look.  That's why they look so cool.

i agree. maybe it would have been more accurate to say i don't put nearly as much work into crafting my identity statement as some do

--------------------

"We are all intoxicated. We were born into an insane asylum, a world crazy-making. We believe what we see and hear. The real myth is the myth of sanity, of rationality: it's a disease that is eating away at the earth. All the poisons flow from our denial. We deny madness, we forget our crimes, we dismember the corpse, we imprison our children. We need poison to poison the poison, to remember the sacred nature of intoxication, the green body of the young god." ~ Dale Pendell

I think a lot of people I used to hang out with are turning into hipsters

Does the post hipster movement involve extreme cross dressing? I think that would be an interesting touch.
