WHY is everything sooo DIRTY!?!?!?!
    #1396470 - 03/20/03 10:15 PM (13 years, 8 months ago)

when ever BOB does mush, he sees more dirt and garbage and shit on the walls. like complete and dirty filth. and just HAS to clean.

well after BOB cleans for like 6 hours and everything is sparkling he keeps it that way for a week until he does mush again. he does it and everything STILL looks so damn dirty.

WHY. BOB hates this, how does BOB stop this? thx.

Why doesn't Bob stop trying to avoid himself by getting restless and finding something to do instead of laying back and letting the mushrooms take over?

You should tell your buddy Bob to relax  Bob needs to realize that there is some scum and dirt in life that he won't be able to scrub off.

NEVER!!!!!! BOB will always take mushrooms until he dies.

well bob only does it in his own house, in the basement actually. but likes it upstairs. cause its so nice and clean and wonderfuly psychadelic. lol.

thought BOB cannot wait for summer. sitting outside at night time on a full moon after eating some mush and just staring at the stars or the forest. its so wickedly awsome.

Bob should try a low dose and accept the dirty walls... on a low dose Bob will learn to accept it and then Bob will accept it on a high dose.... just a theory  :smirk:

I usually have to have a shower before shrooming... and I like to have fresh clean sheets in bed and generally a nice clean area... shrooms accentuate slovenliness and If I am dirty I can literally feel it all over me.. after a shower or If I am in a clean place I feel better...

Wow, LSD makes me feel like this.  I feel dirty, everything looks dirty.. thats one thing i don't like about it.  Mushrooms, on the other hand.. do the opposite... even if its a bit dirty.. everything seems clean and refreshed to me.. alive... But thats me

Couple of things come to mind-

? Guilt- lifetime of exposure to Christian shame-based 'morality' and anti-drug propaganda- subconscious feeling that what you are doing is 'dirty' and as a result you actually see dirt everywhere.

? Worries that your life is out of control, you are unable to maintain order, your responsibilites and relationships are in chaos, and you haven't been taking the time to plan things out and set it all straight.

Cleaning your place- to a reasonable, not OCD degree- is always a good idea anyway, but it's not going to solve the problem of the imagined dirtiness because it's not a literal thing. Since it's really a symbol or a metaphor or something, maybe you do need to 'clean up' your life a bit first, whatever that means to you in your situation.

And being outside *will* help. When everything is that dirty, the concept of dirty cannot exist. It actually seems kind of perverse to me in a trip, the idea of a house as this artificial dirt-free zone, of smooth hard surfaces, flat single colors and 90? angles, as such an unrealistic environment that we all take for granted. I see the dents in the wall, the spots in the carpet, the knots in the wood and the rust on the faucets and it is comforting, because it proves nature can never be eliminated. A forest never gets 'messy,' you can't try to clean it up without defiling it.

BOB needs to start masturbating more, then, when you trip your thoughts will go towards cleaning up yourself rather than your stinkin walls, lol.

Or you could start doing outdoor trips WHICH FUCKING RULE, just don't try to clean the trees.

Heh, wow, bob's lucky. I don't need mushrooms to see dirty, my house looks like a bomb full of junk or something dropped on it

Of course, the shrooms makes the junk way more interesting

Tell bob to say fuck it, wait for a thunderstorm and eat some mushies. Then go out in the rain and roll around in the mud and have a blast. Being covered in mud should make the walls look pretty darn clean .

P.S.  Do this on a warm day!

What if Bob smokes some grass before he trips? I know when I light up I tend to either get lazy or just accept things how they are. I dunno..that's how it is for me.

Edit: Wrong punctuation

Pick up after yourself day to day and you won't have this problem. For me everything in my house looks dirty on psychedelics because it really is I tend to live like a slob from time to time. The shrooms/acid just make me realize whats already there that I was usually able to ignore. I find cleaning my house is a good thing to do when trying to pass the time between not tripping real hard anymore but to restless to sleep. It makes you feel good after wards that you accomplished something productive. Or if you don't like doing it during the trip do it before hand. I usually trip outdoors so don't have this problem.

Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself.
