Tea Appreciation Thread

This thread is devoted to all tea lovers like myself! I was curios to see what types of tea you guys enjoy. What are your favorite flavors? and most importantly, what brand of tea do you get? Personally I am trying to find a website with good quality loose-tea... I have done it in the past with luck and no so much luck! Anyone else use loose tea with a tea ball?
don't get me wrong, I use tea bags too, but sometimes the quality is better with lose, bulk tea and it's always cheaper. So I wanted to see where other people get their loose tea. Also I am started to look into herbal teas more, such as yerba mate... I tried it once but it tasted nasty!! I dont know if it was that particular batch, but I still want to give it another try... I could always mix it with another tea to hide the taste!

Ah yes, I love tea...
I think my favourites are mostly herbal teas. I like peppermint tea, anything with lemongrass or ginger in it, green tea, chamomile, some roobois teas.
My least favourite is chai tea, I cant stand that shit for some reason.
Most of the stuff I buy is loose tea and I put it in a tea ball. Theres a store called Tea Desire where I buy the loose tea and its primo quality. I still use tea bags though when I found something intersting on the store shelves.
ALso just order some dried passionflower leaves so I'm gonna be making tea and smoking a bit as a mild MAOI.

I love me some pepperming tea or some ti kuan yin or gen mai cha. Rooibos with rose hips and dried fruit is also very delcious. The tea shop that I go to has a loose black tea called Ginger Cream and it smells and tastes so god damn good.
I use a infuser like this, except the plastic piece on the bottom doubles as a stopper thing to keep the steam in.

What do you guys use?

I love all real teas! I usually drink green and white, with the occasional black. All typical name brands like Lipton and Salada, for now anyway.

Also, I don't know what you're talking about, yerba mate is amazing. I don't drink it too much, but I probably would more if it had a little less caffeine and fewer carcinogens. I need to get some of that non-smoke-dried stuff so I won't have to worry about carcinogens anymore.
A lot of the reason I drink tea is for L-theanine. Read up on it, it's really interesting stuff.

Yerba mate would be my energy tea. But if you don't like that then I'm not sure what to recommend.

Oh man... you should try Republic of Tea dark chocolate matte... it's expensive at $12 a tin, but totally worth it if you want to treat yourself. It is heaven in a cup.

Rooibos Serengeti - rooibos, pineapple bits, mango bits, papaya bits, cornflowers, sunflower blossoms, blue mallow and whatever "flavour" means
There is a great loose leaf tea shop in my town, I have many kinds. Friends request tea most times now that I've shown it to them.

I usually have a cup of earl grey in the morning, and green tea in the night. Last summer, almost every night I would steep a big cup of pure green tea, go out in the hammock and look up at the stars, drink my tea and smoke a bowl
For the past little while I've been wanting to order some random teas from different parts of the world and give them all a try.
