Woman arrested at Logan for carrying
cocaine in her belly on flight

Massachusetts State Troopers and the DEA arrested a woman who allegedly
smuggled half a kilogram (1.1 pounds) of cocaine onto a flight from the
Dominican Republic.
Luisa Gill, 21, of New Jersey, was arrested at Logan Airport on
Saturday night.
Authorities say that Gill swallowed 50 pellets of compacted cocaine
before she got onto her plane. The cocaine has a street value of
$50,000. Drug dealers wrapped the cocaine in condoms and used Gill as a
mule by having her swallow them.
Gill arrived at Logan on a JetBlue flight and was questioned by Customs
agents who noticed some suspicious behavior. Agents reportedly got Gill
to admit she was carrying the cocaine.
She was taken to Mass General Hospital where the drugs were recovered.
I live in MA and recently flew out of Bradley International in CT. Seems like all the bigger airports have body scanners now. I think pretty soon this method of trafficking will be obsolete, TSA will be able to see right through you literally.

It said in the video that they noticed her because she was acting suspicious, basically theyre always looking for these kind of people, she fit the profile,they wanna make money off catching them. They got her to admit that she had the drugs in her which was a bad move on her part. She could hae got away with it. I doubt they could have legally xrayed her. I dont think the reg scanners would have picked them up.
body scanners DO NOT reveal anything inside of you. Even metal. They just reveal stuff under your clothes. They arent used for drug smuggling detection unless you fall into the trap.
