    #1388316 - 03/18/03 12:51 PM (20 years, 10 months ago)

so my friend mary jane has called every feed store within a 20 mile radius and they say that wheat straw is cut in april/may and and that none is available right now. Anyone with ideas?

Pelletize wheat straw maybe? no one knows what mary jane is talking about when she asks for the stuff....anyone know what its used for?

Thanks

Look for the small bails of wheat straw at your local craft stores. Large bails can sometimes be found at some of the larger privately owned pet stores.

Pelletized straw is used as an organic kitty litter.....

mary jane found wheat straw!! Just had to keep making calls until she found some. Now another related question. Mary Jane has been waiting for a period of 3-4 days of sunshine so she can go pick dry dung....but mother nature isnt cooperating. Can u buy composted dung that does NOT smell like shit and that only requires pasturization and not LEECHING?? Mary doesent know if these questions are elementary, as she is not well educated on the topic of composting or composted material.

Mary says thanks.
