Damn i want some opium, hard to find and they die when i grow 'em. I just wanna quit poppin dem pills. I do use a lot less when i have an ample supply of mushrooms though.

Yeah man, its fucken crazy comming off opiates, I just about killed myself my anxiety and depression was so bad. But if your honest with your doctor and tell her or him whats going on, they can help you get off of them, and without methadone, cuz methadone is just a scapegoat......so try hard man, cuz it just gets worse and worse if you dont. Let us know if u need anything.

I cracked. Started getting suicidal thoughts on day 2 of opiate free days(2day) and really pissed at everything so i took 2 5mg percocets. warm and fuzzy but not super stoned.

If you're still getting off on 10 MG of oxy,you don't have much of a monkey(habit).If you're serious about quitting,now is the time to do it.It will just get harder and harder as time goes by.
Even if you don't have much of a tolerance,it can still be extremely difficult to quit.If you can't do it on your own,get some professional help.And my advice,don't trade one addiction for another:benzos help withdrawal a lot,but then you just rely on them.I would recommend a medicine called Catapres (clonidine).It's a blood pressure med,but it helps withdrawal.It's wonderful for the panic,and it's totally non addictive.

If you are healthy enough, try excercising to combat the suicidal thoughts. The small boost of endorphins helps. I’m not saying if you are going through withdrawals and shitting yourself to go take a run but keep in mind the gym becomes permanent therapy for some people if you can get to that point where you can work out.

opiate addiction is opiate addiction. Methadone when used properly, in a program, is proven to work. So is suboxone. There is a reason so many people fail to cold turkey on their own and a reason why clinics use methadone. If someone is struggling with addiction its important to know all the available options and to take treatment that works.

You're on pretty small doses, but the end is usually the hardest part. You need to either ditch everything you have and remove contact from people who can score it for you, or the better idea would be to join a support group or detox program. You are using them for other reasons beyond physical addiction and you need to address that stuff if you want to avoid relapsing over and over again.
