Too old to trip?
    #1391371 - 03/19/03 10:42 AM (21 years, 1 month ago)

My grandmother wants to experience the psychedelic mushroom after I told her how much i've learned and experienced from it.

Shes 69 years old, and not in perfect health. her respiratory system and nerve system works just fine, only she suffers from arthritis , and diabetis. i figure she will be okay, im thinking of giving her 1.5 grams dried and cooking it up for her so it doesnt taste bad.

what do you guys think? i think shrooms could heal more then they could do damage, and im not afraid of her freaking out, shes pretty strong mentally

I'm not you, and my grandmother isn't yours, but I'd go through with it.

I used to work for this old hippie dude, he was like 58 or 59. He would dose cid and boomers without any bad effects. Also, look at Timothy Leary, he was dosing up until his death...

Hey Ripple! i don't think i'll be too old to trip til they throw me in a freshly dug grave in unholy gound and throw a couple of shovels full of unconsecrated earth on me  my life would be perfect except i now own the house from Hades.....you wouldn't believe the menagerie of tenants i have there :frown: i try and keep a sense of humour about it but sometimes(like right now) it's not easy to do that...... :frown: i'd PM you with the details but i don't like to even peripherally involve anyone else in my own misfortunes.....

dude this is seriosly just too fucked up... giving drugs ... oh no no ok SHROOMS to a 69 year old grandma who lived her whole life with different believes, you don't know how she might react to it, you don't know her brain condition, i wouldnt risk it, couse if anything happens you might get in trouble and im preatty sure you'll just feel bad for the rest of your life... but its your decision and if you can post back the result if you do decide to give her some...

Your never too old to trip. Give her 2.5 and spend some quality time with her watching some Disney flicks.

FreakQlibrium - judging by your comments in "Scared to Death", your sense of humor is doing just fine. Funniest stuff I've seen in a long time

Why is it fucked up?

its her decision, its not like old people are unable to make decisions.

Dude, don't give your grandma shrooms. That is way to old for someone to start tripping. I dont know her, but i would think that it might be dangerous. What if she freaks out and sees something that scares the shit out of her and she has a heart attack or something? And there's no way that shrooms would be good for someone with diabetes. I wouldn't do it. But hey, it's not my grandma.

People that OD are dosing up until their death and they have no problems either...

YOu make it sound like he's gonna force his grandma mushrooms.
He said he'd see if his grandma would like to take some shrooms.
It's her decision, he's not doing it to her, don't you see?
