Casing.. Removing from perlite terrarium REQUIRED??

A friend of mine has some cakes and a casing in his terrarium.. they are all pinning including the casing.. is it absoultely necessary for him to remove his casing from the terrarium to fruit? he really has nowhere to put it.. can he just leave it in there? How will this affect his harvest? Thanks

you dont take them out. Did you read the casing directions correctly?

Well... you have to Lower humidity.. which is not required for cakes... at least thats what my friend told me that he read....

you might end up with fat stems.. but as said above. no show stopper. Keep it high..
Better high for casings, than low for cakes.... or cakes will dry out.
