Who are you asking, for contams that is?

Colonized casings can ward of contams and will survive. Unless your room is just That nasty, I wouldnt worry about it. If you are worried spray some lysol/chlorox disinfectant spray.

And what would "ambient" air having anything to do with it.

For the amount of Lysol one has to spray/inhale, it seems that an automated system of air exchange is preferable.

Get a hepa filter machine, run it for a while before you fan to clean up the air...

yeah.. they are expensive. booooooooooo...

but.. keep it high.. or off the floor. a bit less dust.. good reason to keep your room clean! and as dust free as possible.

hey.. how about using an air canister.. cheap... the ones you use to fan dust from PC fans...... if they are filled with c02.. that would be bad tho.. but maybe.

Most automated air exchange systems will not provide enough, unless you'r using a fan, which in my opinion is just too much work and just as prone to contams, especially if its not done correctly.

Sorry, I've always heard ambient in context meaning average.

"Who are you asking, for contams that is?"

If "I" am asking for contams, who the hell am I asking? and why am "I" asking in the first place? A person should not assume "you."

Just keep your room clean and you will be good to go.

A bubbler left on for an appropriate amount of time has yielded amazing results with out one manual fanning during the entire fruiting stage.

Just make a filter box with polyfil and put your bubbler in it with the tube running into your chamber and it eliminates contamed air altogether and you don't have to do a single fanning with a timer set like 3 times a day for 5-15 minutes.
