microwave for sterilization sux.
i grow cakes of the dimesions you cite in GladWare disposable containers.
they survive pressure cooking just fine.

Ive tryed microwave sterlizatin. It is very symple. The only complait i have is that there is a loss of moisture and I only got about 5 4inch shrooms that sux it was good for one trip and i diddnt even use them because i was too afraid of contamination so i gave them to an aquantance and he diddnt get sick. I dont have access to a pressure cooker and I dont know how to use one if i did Id probably blow the kirchen up. I used a rubbermaid container and with bout 8 cups verm 1 and 1/2 cups brf and 2 cups water. Im going to try it again with this time using a 1:4:1 ratio.

I will have to try the disposible containers in the Pressure cooker. I defantly like it better I just wanted a flatter cake. I cant understand the containers not melting though. Has anyone else yoused these disposible containers in a pressure cooker?
