After Iraq, who's next.
    #1388123 - 03/18/03 01:27 PM (13 years, 8 months ago)

Who's next North Korea, Iran,Pakastan? Who is going to take Sadams place, how will the U.S continue to fight the Taliban and Iraq at the same time? The amount of money spent on all these different fronts wil cost us billions of dollars. The U.S goverment is now entering a time of extreme bad jugdement, these ?'s should have been debated on an open senate floor, If they where there would not be as many unhappy Americans. Doe's anyone know about the new flu virus ging around , it has killed people in China and Canada.

Who's next North Korea, Iran,Pakastan?

north korea has a huge military and may have nuclear weapons. we're not going to attack them. pakistan is an ally. probably none of those three... iran if any of them.

Who is going to take Sadams place

a 'democratically elected' US puppet.

how will the U.S continue to fight the Taliban and Iraq at the same time?

the taliban has already been crushed.

The amount of money spent on all these different fronts wil cost us billions of dollars.

the only front we're gonna be fighting on is iraq, and yes, it's gonna cost hundreds of billions of dollars and tens of thousands of lives.

these ?'s should have been debated on an open senate floor, If they where there would not be as many unhappy Americans.

actually i'm sure that these points were covered during congressional debates and hearings.

Doe's anyone know about the new flu virus ging around , it has killed people in China and Canada.

i believe it's a pnuemonia strain. i wouldn't worry about it.

please. you're making us look bad.

After Iraq, I'm guessing it could be anywhere from North Korea, Iran, Syria, or Libya.

Nobody will be next. You actually think Bush would do this again?

Nobody would re-elect him if he did. And I just don't think he would anyways.

Bad things always come in 3's, and war is a pretty bad thing. We've already got Afghanistan out of the way, and now we're on to Iraq. My guess is Iran will be next, since Bush knows better than to mess w/ N. Korea.

Not really - it the war doesn't get too complicated we will benefit from it.
The prices of oil will go up and a big part of the price difference will go to oil pumping companies owned by USA. In the first gulf war that profit was much higher then the war expenses. That will give a necessary boost to the economy. Even Europe will benefit from it.

Well if no one is next as some here believe then surely all the arguements about protecting US citizens and creating a peaceful world (By killing people!) will be shown for what they truly are - Propaganda smokecreen.

Iraq is not the only country in the world run by an undemocratic government, with a poor humans rights record, who have links to terrorists groups and also posess WMD as well as having anti US feelings amongst their citizens and also their govenrment.

So unless George and the boys attack and disarm all of these potential threats they will have invalidated their reason for attacking Iraq.

What is it that makes Iraq stand out from the rest of these potential threats to the US?

Here's a curve ball, how about Somalia? Ever see Blackhawk Down? I'd bet some military officials would love to even the score there. After Iraq gets smacked around some the region will probably be too hot for further action, so next stop Africa. Somalia is full of Al-Queda according to our government, it's too tempting for Bush to ignore.
